Marijuana effective in reducing pain, study shows - The Globe and Mail

A team of Montreal researchers has lent scientific credibility to the view that smoking marijuana can ease chronic neuropathic pain and help patients sleep better.

People suffering from neuropathic pain often turn to opioids, antidepressants and local anesthetics, but those treatments have limitations and the side effects can be punishing.

    • I see people get immediate relief in our medication room at the medical marijuana clinic I volunteer at. I know it works and take pride in helping. They don't need tests to prove what helps myself and those around me.

      something about a triple blind clinical trial that proves cannabis's positive affects at reducing pain..seems like the no medicinal value arguement wont hold water any more......good deal
