71% of Mexico Local Governments Said Penetrated by Narcos
Drug traffickers exert influence over 71 percent of Mexico’s 2,439 municipal governments and completely control 195 of them. Criminal groups find it easy to dominate municipalities because local administrations are chronically short of money and suffer from neglect on the part of the state and federal governments.
If we legalize cannabis, that will take away 60%, or between 15 and 30 billion dollars from these murderous organizations; then they will not have the wherewithal to bribe and control the government.

Am not surprised! years ago bandits controlled all business dealing with large purchases of all cannabis products in bulk! Stupid so stupid! legalize and tax it and at least in soft drugs, the criminal element goes away! prohibition never works and in this case is a waste of money and resources! In my view legalization is long overdue! tax it instead of taking peoples tax dollars! think off all the good it will do! My heat goes off to every state that has, in some way legalized, asserting states rights for their citizens health and well being!
