LA Sherriff Takes Woman To Court 63 Times

The LA sheriff's department is pulling out all the stops for a misdemeanor conviction with a woman who never did anything wrong. I should also mention that she had been employed by the LAPD yet they fired her as a favor to the LA Sheriff. Her blog above details all of the sheriffs actions including now over 63 mandated court appearances all in a city and state that is broke. She was taken to trial 3 times before she was finally convicted however her case is on appeal. This woman needs the ACLU.

the same thing happens here in Idaho.....misdemeanor offenses like dog @ large, disturbing the peace, trash on property, etc... all have to go through the court system.

I'm glad to see there is no real crime in LA. Obviously, no murders, no drug dealing, no drunk drivers, no aggressive paparazzi, no nothing, just some old ladies to fuck with. It's probably because she didn't carry a gun, no danger involved.

Interesting to note on her blog page that the deputy who attacked her is Deputy Maurizi, the SON of D.A. Jan Maurizi who is the right hand to Steve Cooley, head County District Attorney!
