Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth
Sept 12, 2010
Represents WTC Bldg 7’s still-officially-unexplained free fall collapse and explosive implications
At 9:11 p.m. on the 9th anniversary of the September attacks, the members of the 1,280-strong Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth) lit up the skies over Manhattan with a towering 2-billion-candlepower beam of light to raise public awareness that three, not just two, World Trade Center high-rise buildings collapsed symmetrically at near free-fall acceleration on 9/11, though only two were hit by planes. Three Beams image at www.ae911truth.org, main page upper left.

“Why is there a Third Beam in my skyline?” New Yorkers are asking themselves tonight.

My warmest recommendation to everyone here, who still is of the belief that terrorists indeed were responsible for the collapse of the twin towers, building 7 and the damage caused to the pentagon, please have a look at this documentary. Thank You.

The fact that we are still having this debate is incredible.
There is an infinte amount of evidence that suggests, perhaps even too much evidence that 9/11 was an engineered event with the main purpose of the event having been to go to war in the Middle East for Israel, and for the US and other Western nations to be trained like Palov's dog to accept a vast surveillance/police state in their home country.

Can 1280 Architects and Engineers be wrong? Yes...I fail to see how a certain number of people believing in something affects its validity. But if that is the avenue of concern lets look at the numbers. Concerning only from 1996-2000, and only considering Engineers, there were 214,916 Bachelors degrees given in the engineering field within the United States. So just assuming those numbers, for that small frame of time (considering the estimated life span of an engineer), the number of "engineers and architects" who have apparently signed on with the Truthers (which I want to quickly ask, where exactly is this list?) represent in total, less that .6% of the engineers that graduated over a four year period.
I fail to see how having a tiny number of people willing to put their name to something add anything that overrides the massive amount of technical data proving the official version of the event.

I guess I will respond in kind....
1. Whisk together flour and baking powder in a small bowl.2. Beat together butter and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer at medium-high speed until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes in a standing mixer (preferably fitted with paddle attachment) or 6 with a handheld. Beat in egg and vanilla. Reduce speed to low, then add flour mixture and mix until just combined.
3. Form dough into a 12-inch roll (2 inches in diameter) on a sheet of plastic wrap and roll up dough in plastic wrap. Chill dough 4 hours or until firm.
4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
5. Cut roll into 1/4-inch-thick slices and place on large baking sheets about 1-inch apart.
6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on sheets 3 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
If your not going to bother being rational, I may as well join you in the nonsense.

Peter, I am more than willing to discuss matters like an adult. What I won't do is try to reason with an individual that is implying that Fluorine poisoning leads to mind control.
I did go to the website you recommended. For a site claiming to have evidence, I saw none. I watched videos making broad claims, looked through a lot of stuff I downloaded, but some reason, I seemed unable to find any peered reviewed reports.
That still doesn't change the fact that the supposed list of Architects and Engineers represents a tiny fraction of a percentage of US engineers trained in just a four year period.

I do not exclude the possibility that it also may have impact on the psyche of a human, but it what ways, is unknown to me. Here again is another link with a little bit more 'hard-evidence'

I won't go into how the Journal itself is a joke as I am sure it will fall on deaf ears. I find it humorous that the paper implies that the interior metal columns of the building were apparently sprayed with thermite (how would one explain that to the occupants...or actually do it for that matter?). Also interesting that for the first time since its discovery, thermite was used to take down the buildings. (Having used thermite in a lab before, I fail to see how it could be used on such a large scale as taking down the World Trade Center buildings).
The paper makes extremely broad conclusions as to what the small particles came from. To be clear, my training is in mechanical engineering, not chemical, so I would naturally defer to a reviewed journal by chemical engineers. What I will not take is the assumption that it is accurate as it is an open sourced journal.

You raise a valid concern, hoever I am sure that them core columns were accessible for maintenance purposes at all time and since noone ever would have any reason nor interest to hang out in an 1000 feet deep shaft (althou I have no fear of heights, even I would feel uneasy of sorts), obviously 'maintenance workers' had all the privacy and time to do their job with the greatest possible accuracy and in detail. I would probably inquire as to what the company was that applied the most recent 'rust coating' on the core columns and start right there...

How many more buildings came down that day? My only concern is that how can I categorize this as controlled chaos. Who is able to do a 7-10 split? A falling tower surrounded by smaller buildings and nothing else is dropped. Ok maybe it is coincidence, but is coincidence a free-falling building ricocheting on pavement only to hit one more a good ways away? I still am skeptic. Too bad for the lost lives and brave people that had to endure the aftermath of such chaos.

There are too many holes in the official story to be believable.
If the truth is already established then why stop a truth commission from being formed? What are all you people so afraid of and why are you so quick to defend the official story and say insulting things to the people asking questions and being skeptical of the 9/11 commission?
Psych 101....indicates that you don't need to defend the truth...it stands on its own.

WTC7 was hit by debris from one of the falling towers and had extremely severe burning across more than 8 floors for the entire day. And it didn't fall in freefall speed, its collapse takes about 13 seconds and it severely weakens in several areas before it goes down.
Conspiracy theorists like to show pictures out the north side of the building, which looks unharmed. But the south and west portions of the building are devastated and totally ablaze.
If that doesn't convince you, that's fine. I don't expect someone to be convinced by a single comment. But if you are REALLY part of a TRUTH movement and not just someone who enjoys feeling self-righteous over others for not believing the "official" story, then you'll look up refutations of this kind of stuff. There are many I assure you and all of them are done by independent, objective researchers just like these people.
The sad truth is that reality is often quite simple, brutal and boring. And the reality of conspiracies is that practically none of them ever stay under wraps. And the bigger they are, the less likely it is that they'll stay under wraps. Look at Watergate, look how quickly an unhappy government informant was willing to divulge that info. Against Nixon no less, and his real identity wasn't even uncovered until he voluntarily came forward a few years ago.
So here we are in what is supposed to be the largest conspiracy in American history and yet there is nothing but idle questions to prove it was a conspiracy?
So what's more likely then? That the most corrupt and incompetent presidential administration in decades and a CIA which has an abysmal success rate at keeping its activities both efficient or successful actually pulled off the greatest terrorist conspiracy ever.....
...orrrrrrrr that a terrorist organization that's been growing in strength since we funded and trained their defense against the Soviets in Afghanistan, with pronounced hatred for the West and hundreds of successful attacks under their belt, trained a couple of guys with boxcutters to hijack some planes (something which was once accomplished by the PLO by the way, not unprecedented) to instill terror, fear and destruction against an empire they deem as evil as the Soviet one they once fought?
By the way, their recruitment videos openly associate themselves with the attacks and demonstrate and celebrate the training used to hijack the planes.
Ignore the internet hype, think about it seriously and critically for a minute.

To support your point-the post office, which was a block and a half away, did not reopen for two years or so because it was so badly damaged by the impact of towers falling and the debris. I think it's easy for people who are completely removed from the event to theorize, but for those of us who were down there, it made perfect sense. There was no explosion right before either of the towers fell, trust me. And the heat from those planes was unbelievable.

I originally wrote a diatribe here about how resonance from explosions could easily damage buildings blocks away... but ... I removed it. I digress... As you said... it's easy for me to theorize. Why isn't it for you? People INSIDE the building have said they felt explosions, including every fireman that was there. How close were you? Inside?
So even if you didn't hear any explosions... then please explain why they found thermite at ground zero, along with a commercial version of thermite called "thermate" which is used specifically in building demolition. And you can see in many pictures that the core columns have a 45 degree angle thermal CUT in them. There's plenty of video of it. Jet fuel burns at a much lower temperature than steel melts at... and unless the building was filled with gunpowder or some other catalyst, then there's no way there would be molten steel coming out the windows.
The fact that you didn't hear explosions is no reason to stop investigating what is claimed by MANY, including me, to be the worst warcrime in history. That doesn't necessarily matter in the overall scheme, here. It's one detail that YOU didn't notice.
Are you seriously still convinced that the event that started the war that has netted our government trillions of dollars, tanking the economy (which made them even MORE money)... you STILL think there's no way there was somebody behind it?
I would take a look back in history to see how often scams like this are pulled by empires. Our country's history alone is riddled with events where private interest has taken so much from so many.

Angles of cuts in the columns and thermite usage in 9/11!
Source:http://www.debunking911.com/thermite.htm
--Snip--Another point is the angle of the cut. The argument here is that it suggests the column was cut at an angle so the building fell in a certain direction, like a tree. But is it possible the column was cut at an angle so just the column fell in a certain direction during cleanup? This can't be, surely the scholars would have asked an ironworker or someone else on the scene. I bet there isn't one photograph someone can find on the internet of a column which is cut at an angle. Remember, we're talking about "Scholars" here.--Snip--
Below the part about the angle cuts is the extensive debunking of thermite involved with the Twin Towers. It has a lot of stuff so, not going to snip it. Please feel free to read it yourself if you actually care about getting as much of a fair and balanced idea about what's going on. Or, unless you're one of those that just listen to one side of an argument and blindly follow, then that's okay, too. Whatever makes you happy.

I read it. So if there is another investigation, it should verify what the document says, correct? The point being there are so many questions surrounding the events of 9/11 that there should be another investigation such that all sides of the argument are presented in one document. I myself would support another investigation simply because Bush, initially didn't want any. And when one finally happened he restricted it with a tight time frame and limited funding. Remember, Republicans spent 40 million to impeach Clinton and only 15 million on the 9/11 investigation. Kind of makes you wonder.

You raise a good point. A new investigation would go a long way toward clearing up so many of the questions that have permeated the internet. I found this interview with Lawrence Wilkerson interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRKFbLJDfl4 I think the reasoning for resisting the initial investigation was not to hide a secret plot, but to turn a spotlight away from the glaring incompetence in national security decisions just prior to 9/11. I would also like to know if there was any intent to look the other way so that the attack could take place. That's as far as my conspiracy theories go. But planting explosives, diverting planes, hiding passengers, shooting missiles... The Bush Administration? People give them WAY too much credit.

Everyone has a right to an opinion here, yes, but many people don't share your views on this and will tend to disagree with you -- and some more strongly than others. I think you have some valid points, but at the same time, the points you make are nothing new to the community here. We've heard them and for the most part, rejected them.
It's been nine years and people still have a hard time believing something so horrible ever happened. It is EASIER to believe that this horrible thing was caused by 19 bad men in planes that set out to kill almost 3000 innocent people and destroy the WTC and the Pentagon and terrorize an entire nation. It is NOT easy to consider that your viewpoint may have some validity. Remember that it took 15 years before there were Senate hearings on the John F. Kennedy assassination.
Core columns: I'm no engineer, but I know the core columns were hit when the planes impacted the buildings -- the north tower got the worst of it because the plane went through more core columns than the south tower, but I can't even imagine the forces going on in those buildings near and at collapse, so that the core columns didn't hold is not surprising.

Nope-that's how it fell. The south tower did not fall directly in it's foot print-the North tower did. The South tower fell almost in its own foot print. And the North tower was the one that was hit higher up, which supports the post that said the higher up the tower was hit, the more likely it would have collapsed in it's own footprint.

I certainly don't want to dismiss people's questions about the truth. I think n investigation is merited. However, I would like to state some of my own thoughts as to why I think WTC 7 was just collateral damage. A lot of buildings down there were so structurally compromised that they had to be taken down eventually, so it stands to reason that one that was next door (not two blocks away) would fall that day. I remember watching the towers burn thinking, "the only way this is going to end is when they fall." I knew they were going to fall just by watching them. And as far as why they fell straight down? The architect himself has said he designed them that way.

I respect your views, absolutely and you make sense a little addition from me if I may refer to the ae911truth.org website again, the 'pancake effect' is not what happened ... because else we would have the floors on top of each other with two 1000 feet high core columns sticking still up in the air and due to the nature of the constructions the airplanes (which were truly small airliners) could not have brought them down either, sadly termite and evidence of cut core columns were found also ... so the evidence - all evidence indicates clearly that somebody (before the actual attacks happened) went there, cut the core columns and planted termite charges (that evidence also was found in the ruins so it is not imaginary really)

hmmm do you even know what termite is...oops did u mean thermite?? Iron oxide (rust) plus aluminum and with the added heat from the jet fuel and you now have a thermite reaction!!! wow!!! According to wiki "Thermite is a pyrotechnic composition of a metal powder and a metal oxide, which produces an aluminothermic reaction known as a thermite reaction. Most varieties are not explosive, but can create short bursts of extremely high temperatures focused on a very small area for a short period of time."

If Operation Northwoods is fact and I would absolutely be killed if I try to penetrate Area-51's perimeter, there are questions about the intent of the so-called government.I would also really like more facts about WTC building #7.

The first conspiracy theories about 9/11 began to emerge while the wreckage was still smoldering. As evidence accumulated that conclusively linked the hijackings to Al Qaeda, some self-proclaimed skeptics searched for alternative explanations. Many seemed driven to find a way to blame the United States for somehow abetting, or even orchestrating, the tragedy.
In the years since the attacks, these assertions have grown progressively more lurid and pervasive. If you search the phrase "9/11 conspiracy" on the Internet, you will discover more than 800,000 Web pages. A few skeptics make a responsible effort to sift through the mountain of available information, but a vast majority ignore all but a few stray details they think support their theories. In fact, many conspiracy advocates demonstrate a double standard. They distrust the mainstream media coverage and government sponsored investigations of 9/11, yet they cherry-pick from those same sources to promote their extreme notions: that the hijacked planes weren't commercial jets, but military aircraft, cruise missiles, or remote-control drones; that the World Trade Center buildings were professionally demolished; that American air defenses were deliberately shut down; and more.
Increasingly, such beliefs are migrating from the fringes and into the mainstream. French author Thierry Meyssan's The Big Lie, which argues that the U.S. military used one of its own guided missiles to attack the Pentagon, was a bestseller in France, and his claims have been widely repeated in European and Middle Eastern media. When Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wrote to President George W. Bush in May 2006, his rambling missive included broad hints that the American government was involved in organizing the attacks. Allegations of American complicity in 9/11 have become standard fare on talk radio, and among both radical left- and radical right-wing groups. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, a Democrat from Georgia, has held a Capitol Hill hearing on the topic. Celebrities have gotten into the act as well. "Why did Bush knock down the towers?" rapper Jadakiss asked in his 2004 hit "Why?" And, in an interview with conspiracy-oriented talk-show host Alex Jones, actor Charlie Sheen embraced a variety of popular conspiracy theories.
"Everyone is entitled to his own opinion," Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan of New York was fond of saying. "He is not entitled to his own facts." Sooner or later, even the wildest 9/11 theories rely on factual claims. And facts can be checked.

Fat chance they will ever catch him (or want to for that matter), the US govt. even evacuated his family from the US on the day of the 9/11 attacks, they are all in cahoots with the Saudis ... that will never happen, sorry bro.

Welcome to the debate :) Yeah thats how it should be but instead people who want to investigate matters are either being ridiculed or otherwise shut-up. Probably out of fear that people might actually wake up finally and start asking (for the government) inconvenient questions.

Ah, I love it! None of the deniers can say shit about building 7 coming down into it's own foot print in 8 seconds. Not even hit by a plane and 2 long blocks from the twin towers, and the big lie, NOT EVEN MENTIONED IN THE 911 REPORT! A fifty story building with some fires that were left to burn all day at one corner of the building and it goes straight down in 9 seconds? And the evidence at this crime scene carted away, fortunately some people saved the most incriminating evidence, Thermite does not occur naturally in nature. When applied with a paint brush this high explosive burns over 5,000 degrees, and would take minutes or hours to apply to key area's. And my favorite denier statement how could the government keep such a plan a secret, well this didn't take any where the amount of people to pull it off as the Manhattan Project! Literally thousand of people were in the Manhattan Project and the Government was able to keep that a secret.

And just try and tell me how building 7 went down so fast that it became the 3rd steel framed building in history to come down from fire. Oh and the other two in history were the towers on the same day. You can't explain it, and neither could the 911 commission so they left it out of the report. If people are interested in burning books that report should be the first in line!

I'm not aware of any beams having it painted on them...i know some residue was found through out rubble here and there...care to direct me to said link to said beam with said thermite applied on it?? Hope your source doesn't lead its way back to Steven E. Jones
"Jones claims to have found traces of thermate (thermite with a small amount of sulfur and a large amount of barium nitrate added) on a piece of steel from the WTC. This claim is unsubstantiated. First, Jones does not cite the chemical composition of actual spent thermate signatures, for comparison. Second, Jones has not provided a chain of custody for the steel he tested that would preclude its contamination by other sources. Third, and most importantly, there is nothing unexpected about finding sulfur and trace metals on WTC steel and dust samples. " http://sites.google.com/site/wtc7lies/stevene.jones'thermitethermateclaims
there you can see what steel looks like when thermite is applied....
