Israel allows new cars into Gaza

journalist_pal
After holding Gaza under siege for more than three years, Israel has said it will finally allow new cars and spare parts into the strip.

Residents were relieved, because they have had to buy damaged cars and parts from tunnel smugglers.

But a month after the announcement, nothing has arrived because of a dispute between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.

Some car dealers are also angry because they could be stuck with over-priced inventory brought to Gaza through smuggling which they will not be able to sell.

    • food for thought:
if the gazan siege is what certain media makes it out to be gaza has no roads to drive cars on.(israel has bombed them back to the stone age)
they dont have the infrastructure to offer gas stations.(they cant build anything cuz israel wont allow it)
they dont have the means to learn to be mechanics.(they are deprived of basic education because of the blockade)

how third world can gaza be if they are developed enough to not only be ready to PURCHASE cars, but already had been through black market methods.
yemen and qatar are less developed, but for some reason gaza is a genocide.i mean aparthied (i always mix things up when thier is a propaganda switch).
a lot of genocides,or aparthieds have automobile based economies?
