Does the GOP risk November losses with Tea Party wins like Christine O'Donnell?

"Tea Party favorite Christine O'Donnell defeated her mainstream Republican opponent in Delaware's GOP U.S. Senate primary Tuesday, extending the run of victories by conservative candidates in what is considered an anti-incumbent atmosphere in the country."

Do "Tea Party candidates" winning GOP primaries help or hurt the GOP. Will independents vote for these candidates?

    • Of course it does, this tea party movement is sending the GOP hard right and leaving moderates and Independents to vote for the more moderate democratic candidates. I love it, it reminds me of the elections in 1964, the Republicans went hard right and lost their asses. It still will be a bad year for Democrats but the house, and the senate will stay in Democratic hands. It's a great day for Democrat's to celebrate especially with the looming debate on tax cuts for the rich. Ha, Ha!
