Just Say Now is SSDP's way to put a foot down on marijuana prohibition, said Nicole Murphy, a senior in history and vender coordinator for Hempfest.

"This prohibition is ridiculous, she said. "We're students, and we can stand up, and we have the right to say what we believe in."

    • Why make war on the peace pipe? Also why is hemp a plant that will feed, shelter and clothe a person counted as a schedual one drug too ? Hemp was the only crop that was stopped in America and all along, "Proud Mary Keeps On Burning". Sincerely, Janice M. Bonser

      Almost no negative effects? Tell that to my 3 friends who died because a couple of punks were blazed while driving and ran the light. I do hope there is no legalization of marijuana here.
