    • Interesting that Detroit/pontiac isn't on the list considering the poverty level there. I suppose even gangsters don't want to stay in an extremely impoverished area.

      It would be interesting to find out whether these are considered "random acts" of violent crime or not. I would doubt it very much, so it also disputes the claim of "my chances of becoming the victim of a crime"

    • The first paragraph doesn't accurately represent the data. It's not "on any given day"... one in four people will be attacked in any given YEAR in that Chicago neighborhood. Still ridiculously high, though.
