American Indians used to smoke it in a peace pipe, sitting around the camp fire. I've also seen people smoke it, guess I'll have to devote my life to writing about drug users.

misleading title! i thought he lit up INSIDE the house of commons.. that would have been bad-ass. it used to be legal to smoke cigs inside for the pure comfort and pleasure of it all but, laws is laws...

Dude, I don't know about you, but I find that to be so bad-ass, myself. I mean, I can't imagine myself smoking weed right in front of the room where PM and all the other politicians bicker and fight over laws.
What's also surprising is that I only just heard of this story now, and I live in Ottawa! I mean, what the hell?!
