Anyone with any common sense can see that the SCOTUS decision on Citizens United is gonna ruin the way we elect our lawmakers. You need to ask yourself, "why would China want to donate $10 million to the Chamber of Commerce, and why would we allow it?". The GOP has no interest in allowing the POTUS to create jobs here in America. The GOP got together the day after Obama took office and said "we CANNOT let this man succed at anything he does to better this country. We must do everything in our power to make him fail. The last 8 years we have screwed this country up so bad that if he does, our 100 year plan goes out the window." The POTUS for the last 2 years has been screaming about not letting other countries take the lead in "green tech." jobs and taxing companies that send jobs overseas (i.e China, India, Brazil). If that happens the only people that win are the rich business owners (robber barons) and China. Letting these tax breaks for the top 2% continue will make the problem a lot worse. The GOP say that these are the people who create jobs! Partly right, but all the jobs go overseas while the top 2% pad their bank accounts for themselves and their stock holders. China does not want to lose those jobs and the GOP don't want to upset their top contributers and all in the same breath they make the POTUS look bad. When I hear the GOP leadership say "it does not make sense to allow these tax cuts to end", I want to reach out and suckerpunch the idiots. What does not make sense, is giving the rich tax cuts with 2 wars going on like they did. How many of the top 2% richest people have sons or daughters who have sacrificed their lives in these wars or come home with a dibilitating injury like my brother, who left his left leg in Iraq? I would bet money that they probably gained financially from the wars while getting a tax break on top. 5 million private sector jobs were lost under the GOPs reign of 8 years (and a major deficet after having a good sized surplus). Wake up and smell the coffee people, it is right there in front of you and most refuse to see it.
