While making breakfast at work this morning I saw this note hanging on the wall in the kitchen at my work. As I was waiting for my sausage biscuits to finish in the microwave I read it over and not 10 seconds in I thought of Reddit.

Here it is: I am writing you this morning asking for a special favor, not for me but for Hunter Scott of Calvert County Maryland

Hunter is a 1st grader and will be having his 7th birthday party on the 23rd of October. It will probably be Hunter's last birthday according to his doctors. Hunter has been fighting brain Cancer for the past 3 years and spent the entire summer in experimental programs that unfortunately did not help. When asked what he wanted for his birthday he replied "I want lots of birthday cards, all my friends and Jessica (Jessica is my 23 year old granddaughter who has been raising money for Hunters family along with her Cancer Team Volunteers) to do face painting for my friends." What an unselfish request from a very ill child!

What I am asking is for you to forward this information onto all our friends in the State Auxiliary & ask them to ask their friends, church groups, kids school classes, etc.... to send cards to this little boy."

Now Reddit we know what to do right?

Lets give this kid something to smile about on his 7th birthday! =D

Now I know it is short notice only 10 days till B-Day but We can make this happen! I am not sure how to do all this, just I want to help spread the love of reddit and the great community we have here to the world. So periodically through-out the day I will post the address whether it will be the address for Hunter or My address and I will just send one bulk package to him. Teach me reddit how to make sure I do this right too =) Thanks!

Edit: Hey I don't really know him personally and I can try to find out who put it up at work and maybe get some more information. Send him ANYTHING I guarantee he will love it. I want to do a little something extra for him but I don't know him like that =)
