Joy Behar And Whoopi Goldberg Walk Off The View After Sparring With Bill O’Reilly

TimALoftis
Bill O’Reilly was a guest on The View today to promote his new Pinheads and Patriots book and the discussion got really, really heated over the so-called “Ground Zero Mosque” debate. At one point co-host Whoopi Goldberg exclaimed to O’Reilly “that is such bullsh*t” before she and Joy Behar walked off the set in protest.

Fort Hood jihad: Army officer ordered destruction of video evidence

Can't have a video circulating of a Muslim shouting "Allahu akbar" and murdering people, now, can we? That would be "Islamophobic"!

"Soldier says ordered to delete Fort Hood videos," by Angela K. Brown and Michael Graczyk for Associated Press, October 15:

FORT HOOD, Texas - A soldier who recorded the terror of last year's deadly shooting rampage in Fort Hood using his cell phone was ordered by an officer to delete both videos, a military court heard Friday.

Under cross examination, Pfc. Lance Aviles told an Article 32 hearing that his noncommissioned officer ordered him to destroy the two videos on Nov. 5, the same day a gunman unleashed a volley of bullets inside a processing center at the Texas Army post.

The footage could have been used as evidence at the military hearing to decide if Maj. Nidal Hasan should stand trial in the shootings. The 40-year-old American-born Muslim has been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder.

Twenty-nine witnesses over three days have appeared either in a courtroom or by video link. Prosecutors have not said whether they'll seek the death penalty if the case goes to trial.

Aviles described how he was waiting for medical tests at the center with his battle buddy, Pfc. Kham Xiong, when he heard someone shout. Then the gunshots began.

He said he saw a tanned, balding man wearing an Army combat uniform and carrying a black pistol.

"I saw smoke coming from the pistol," Aviles told the court.

The pair threw themselves to the floor. Aviles turned to his left to check Xiong and discovered his friend had been shot.

"His head was facing the left and a shard of his skull was sticking up," Aviles said.

Xiong, a 23-year-old father of three from St. Paul, Minn., was among the 13 who died in the attack. Aviles, the 20th person to provide testimony at the hearing, was not hurt.

Addressing the court via video link from Afghanistan, Spc. Megan Martin said she had been waiting to take medical tests when saw a man to her left stand up and shout "Allahu Akbar!" -- "God is great!" in Arabic -- then start firing a weapon....

The Oklahoma City bombing was a bomb attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995 by Timothy McVeigh, an American militia movement sympathizer who detonated an explosive-filled truck parked in front of the building. McVeigh's co-conspirator, Terry Nichols, had assisted in the bomb preparation. It was the most destructive act of terrorism on American soil until the September 11, 2001 attacks. The Oklahoma blast claimed 168 lives, including 19 children under the age of 6, and injured more than 680 people. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a sixteen-block radius, destroyed or burned 86 cars, and shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings. The bomb was estimated to have caused at least $652 million worth of damage.
This truck bomb attack by right-wing extremists Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols killed 168 people – the deadliest domestic-based terrorist attack in US history and, before the September 11, 2001 attacks, the deadliest act of terrorism in US history. It inspired improvements to United States federal building security.

The Columbine High School massacre occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Columbine, an unincorporated area of Jefferson County, Colorado, United States, near Denver and Littleton. Two senior students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, embarked on a massacre, killing 12 students and one teacher. They also injured 21 other students directly, and three people were injured while attempting to escape. The pair then committed suicide. It is the fourth-deadliest school massacre in United States history, after the 1927 Bath School disaster, 2007 Virginia Tech massacre and the 1966 University of Texas massacre, and the deadliest for an American high school.

The Centennial Olympic Park bombing was a terrorist bombing on July 27, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States during the 1996 Summer Olympics, the first of four committed by Eric Robert Rudolph, former explosives expert for the United States Army. Two people died, and 111 were injured.

What you just listed has nothing to do with religion. It has nothing to do with Christianity. Those people committed those murders in the name of no religion. Whereas the terrorist attacks by muslims have been directly tied to their faith. You are wrong, and are trying to argue something completely different.

Ku Klux Klan, often abbreviated KKK and informally known as The Klan, is the name of three distinct past and present far-right organizations in the United States, which have advocated extremist reactionary currents such as white supremacy, white nationalism, and anti-immigration. The current manifestation is splintered into several chapters and is widely considered to be a hate group.
From reconstruction at the end of the civil war to the end of the civil rights movement, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) used threats, violence, arson, and murder to further its white-supremacist, anti-Communist, ANTI-SEMITIC and ANTI-CATHOLIC agenda. Domestic terrorists with agendas similar to the KKK include neo-Nazis and white power skinheads.

      Army of GOD (USA)
Army of GOD (AOG) is a CHRISTIAN terrorist anti-abortion organization that sanctions the use of force to combat abortion in the United States. HBO produced a documentary on the Army Of God entitled Soldiers In The Army Of God. Clayton Waagner's fake anthrax letters have resulted in their being mentioned among terrorist organizations at the FBI.
The Army of God (AOG) is a loose network of individuals and groups connected by ideological affinity and the determination to use force to end abortion in the United States. Acts of anti-abortion violence increased in the mid-1990s culminating in a series of bombings by Eric Robert Rudolph, whose targets included two abortion clinics, a gay and lesbian night club, and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Letters sent to newspapers claim responsibility for the bombing of the abortion clinics in the name of the Army of God.

Aryan Nations (AN) is a white nationalist neo-Nazi organization founded in the 1970s by Richard Girnt Butler as an arm of the CHRISTIAN Identity group known as the CHURCH of JESUS CHRIST-CHRISTIAN. As of December 2007 there were two main factions that claimed descent from Butler's group. The Aryan Nations has been called a "terrorist threat" by the FBI, and the RAND Corporation has called it the "first truly nationwide terrorist network" in the USA.

The Phineas PRIESTHOOD (Phineas PRIESTS) is a CHRISTIAN Identity movement that opposes interracial intercourse, the mixing of races, homosexuality, and abortion. It is also marked by its ANTI-SEMITISM, anti-multiculturalism, and opposition to taxation. It is not considered an organization because it is not led by a governing body, there are no gatherings, and there is no membership process. One becomes a Phineas PRIEST by simply adopting the beliefs of the PRIESTHOOD and acting upon those beliefs. Members of the PRIESTHOOD are often called terrorists for, among other things, planning to blow up FBI buildings, abortion clinic bombings, and bank robberies.

The Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord (CSA) was a radical CHRISTIAN Identity organization formed in 1971 in the small community of Elijah in southern Missouri, United States.

NOW you just try and tell me that home-grown domestic terrorism in the United States of America has "nothing" to do with religion
or that "all" terrorists are muslims

You bringing up the kkk is quite laughable. In no way shape or form are they relevant in TODAY'S discussion about terrorism. You are talking about a small group of white trash nobodies. Name one terrorist attack the kkk has carried out in the past 25 years. And in no way are these sparse and few attacks on abortion clinics in the same ballpark as Islamic terrorism.

In 1971, KKK members used bombs to destroy 10 school buses in Pontiac, Michigan.
On November 3, 1979, five protesters were killed by KKK and American Nazi Party members in the Greensboro massacre in Greensboro, North Carolina.
In 1980, three KKK members shot four elderly black women (Viola Ellison, Lela Evans, Opal Jackson and Katherine Johnson) in Chattanooga, Tennessee, following a KKK initiation rally. A fifth woman, Fannie Crumsey, was injured by flying glass in the incident. In 1982, a jury awarded the five women $535,000 in a civil rights trial.
After Michael Donald was lynched in 1981 in Alabama, the FBI investigated his death and two local KKK members were convicted of having a role, including Henry Hayes, who was sentenced to death. Her lawsuit against the United Klans of America was tried in February 1987. After exhausting the appeals process, Hayes was executed for Donald's death in Alabama on June 6, 1997. It was the first time since 1913 that a white man had been executed in Alabama for a crime against an African American.

In July 2006, 3 IKA members beat Jordan Gruver, a 16-year-old boy of Native American and Panamanian descent at a Kentucky county fair. In February 2007, IKA members Jarred Hensley and Andrew Watkins were convicted and sentenced to three years in prison for beating Gruver. The Southern Poverty Law Center also filed a civil suit on Gruver's behalf in Meade County, Kentucky against IKA "Imperial Wizard" Ron Edwards and the IKA for the actions of the IKA members. On November 14, 2008, an all-white jury of seven men and seven women awarded $1.5 million in compensatory damages and $1 million in punitive damages to Gruver against Edwards

On November 14, 2008, an all-white jury of seven men and seven women awarded $1.5 million in compensatory damages and $1 million in punitive damages to plaintiff Jordan Gruver, represented by the Southern Poverty Law Center against the Imperial Klans of America. The ruling found that five IKA members had savagely beaten Gruver, then 16 years old, at a Kentucky county fair in July 2006.

All those posts give no definitive answers. but here's the main distinction: hate crimes are crimes committed against a specific INDIVIDUALS to both evoke fear and cause harm. Terrorist attacks are carried out against specific ESTABLISHMENTS to evoke fear and cause harm but are indiscriminate as to what specific individuals are harmed.

its not that black and white, judge. you are really reaching when you compare the kkk to islamic terror organizations both in scope and logisitics. The ony "terrorist attack" or or as I would call it, a hate crime in the past ten years you gave me is the beating death of a young person. there have been beating deaths of gays,; a white kid was almost beat to death by a group of black kids in buffalo last year, are these terrorist acts? You comparing the beating death to 9/11, the madrid train bombings, the london bombings, the 93 tarde tower bombing is no where near the same ballpark.

      nine out of every ten
      99 out of every hundred
and 999 out of every thousand
(FYI there really haven't actually been THAT many)
out of all of the acts of terrorism in the nearly 300-year history of the United States of America have been thought of, planned, acted upon, and perpetrated by white, anglo-European (mostly Christian) natural-born citizens one of the 50 States of the United States of America

The 2001 anthrax attacks in the United States, also known as Amerithrax from its Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) case name, occurred over the course of several weeks beginning on September 18, 2001, one week after the September 11 attacks. Letters containing anthrax spores were mailed to several news media offices and two Democratic U.S. Senators, killing five people and infecting 17 others. The ensuing investigation became "one of the largest and most complex in the history of law enforcement."
The 2001 anthrax attacks in the United States occurred over the course of several weeks beginning on September 18, 2001. Letters containing anthrax spores were mailed to several news media offices and two Democratic U.S. Senators, killing five people and infecting 17 others. In mid-2008, the FBI narrowed its focus to Bruce Edwards Ivins, a scientist who worked at the government's biodefense labs at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland. Ivins was told of the impending prosecution and on July 29 committed suicide, by an overdose of acetaminophen.

      Unabomber attacks
From 1978 to 1995, neo-luddite radical and former mathematics professor Theodore "Ted" Kaczynski - known by the codename "UNABOM" until his identification and arrest by the FBI - carried out a campaign of sending letterbombs to academics and various individuals particularly associated with modern technology. In 1996, his manifesto was published in The New York Times and the Washington Post, under the threat of more attacks. The bomb campaign ended with his capture.
      Ted Kaczynski, The Unabomber
Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski (pronounced /kəˈzɪnski/; born May 22, 1942), also known as the Unabomber (University and Airline Bomber), is an American mathematician and social critic, who engaged in a mail bombing spree that spanned nearly 20 years, killing three people and injuring 23 others.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, where, as an intellectual child prodigy, he excelled academically from an early age. Kaczynski was accepted into Harvard University at the age of 16, where he earned an undergraduate degree, and later earned a PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan. He became an assistant professor at the University of California, Berkeley at age 25 but resigned two years later.

      Austin IRS attack
On February 18, 2010, Andrew Joseph Stack III flew his airplane into the IRS building in Austin, TX killing one other person and injuring many more in an act of lone wolf terrorism. He cited many reasons for his grievance against the government of the United States as well as other facets of the country such as bailout of financial institutions, politicians in general, conglomerate companies of General Motors, Enron and Arthur Andersen, labor unions, drug and health care insurance companies, and the Catholic Church. He added a meeting with a poor widow who never got pension benefits she was promised, the effect of the Tax Reform Act of 1986 on engineers, the September 11 attacks airline bailouts that only benefited the airlines but not the suffering engineers, how a Certified Public Accountant he hired seemed to side with the government to take extra tax money from him, criticism of the FAA and the George W. Bush administration were reasons for him to call for violent revolt.
      2010 Austin Plane Crash
The 2010 Austin suicide attack occurred on February 18, 2010, when Andrew Joseph Stack III, flying his Piper Dakota, crashed into Building I of the Echelon office complex in Austin, Texas, United States, killing himself and Internal Revenue Service manager Vernon Hunter. Thirteen others were injured, two seriously. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) field office was located in a four-story office building along with other state and federal government agencies. Prior to the crash, Stack had posted a suicide note dated February 18, 2010 to his business website.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting was a shooting at that nation's memorial to The Holocaust in Washington, D.C. on June 10, 2009, at 12:50 p.m. Security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns, 39, was shot, and later died from his injuries. Suspect James Wenneker von Brunn, 88, was charged in federal court on June 11, 2009, with first-degree murder and firearms violations. On July 29, 2009, von Brunn was indicted on seven counts, including four which made him eligible for the death penalty. In September 2009, a judge ordered von Brunn to undergo a competency evaluation to determine whether or not he could stand trial. While awaiting his trial, von Brunn died on January 6, 2010.
      Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting
An elderly man with believed ties to neo-Nazi groups opened fire on June 10, 2009 at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, killing one guard. James W. Von Brunn, 88, from Maryland, reportedly entered the museum shortly before 1 p.m. EDT, took out what appeared to be a rifle and fired at a security guard. Two other security guards returned fire, striking the shooter, according to reports. Von Brunn died on January 6, 2010, while awaiting trial.

If you can suffer the offensive bimbo launching this with ther leftard bullshit, watch some great ads telling the truth about Muslim terrorists.

Sorry sweetie, we don’t need no commercials to “fuel our hatred.” Muslims did a very good job of that themsleves on 9/11, especially the Muslims around the world who were cheering and dancing in the streets that day. I wonder what she’ll say on Nov. 3rd after she realizes these ads have achieved the desired results.

The word “brown skin” was used by the spokeswoman here and not us anti-islam stance takers.

I couldn’t care less not a hoot, about anyone''s colour..as we all well know here. Don’t we !! It is behaviors that we are concerned with here. Behaviors that are Islamo-Doctrine endorsed, encouraged, kit-supplied, funded, hate-cultivated, death-dealing etc. AS WE ALL VERY WELL KNOW !

What the hell has ”color” got to do with it ?? Libtards. Blind dumb Libtards…wake up..because your blinded non-grasp of islamo-sedition aids and succours these clandestines, that have arisen to view in full impact in such cases as Fort Hood muslim assasin, Times Sq. bombing attempts, the GZ mosque…Isn’t it OBVIOUS to you Libtards yet ?? Islam is evil and a threat to freedom worldwide and a moderate Muslim is an oxymoron. More oxymorons: intelligent Muslim, Muslim thinker, Muslim scholar....add your own.

the term "theology" or "theological" in and of itself is an oxymoron
in the original latin, the word "Theo" means "of god"
belief in god is based upon faith
the suffix "ologia"means "the ([scientific]) study of"
scientific study is based on proof
      Proof Defies Faith
because with any proof, there is no need for any faith
and without faith, god, or rather the belief in god, is nothing.
"Theology" literally means "the science of the study of god"
      god cannot be scientifically studied
because you cannot study scientifically that which exists only solely in the imaginations of delusional schizophrenic people

      the words "Good Christian"
are ALSO an oxymoronic contradiction in terms
basically put, there quite simply IS nothing "Good" about being a "Christian"

there is an entire publication that, in it very title, is an oxymoron
      the "Christian Science" monitor
Science and Religion are diametrically contradictory, and are mutually exclusive ideologies
Christianity has ALWAYS been blindly and violently opposed to all forms of science in all of their varying historical incarnations,
from the Inquisition in the 14th century (the "Eppur Si Muove" trial of Galileo Galiei and the murders of Nicholas Copernicus and Johannes Kepler)
to the Reformation Genocides in the 16th century (Unitarianist universalism to this day strongly supports scientific progress)
to the Scopes Monkey Trial in the 20th
and the Pennsylvania "Pandas and People: CreatIntelligent Designtionism" legal proceeding just a couple of years ago

there is an institution in West Virginia that has its own "history" museum:
      the institute of "Creation Science"
once more again; and oxymoron and a contradiction in terms

    • I got onto this current community because I thought I would interact with smart people from different perspectives. I do not question the communities ability to cognitively grasp issues, but I do question the general ability to detach from emotion on issues. Your anger and bitterness towards O'Reily and the women of the view make me feel really bad for you. This type of anger starts a snowball of negativity that grasps on to anything that will increase its presence in your body. This means that the moment you spout off about this crap, you open the door to anger with your kids, spouse, co-workers, and etc. You are not simply letting out steam but you are building a bridge to inner turmoil that ruins relationships and lives. You may think I am on some bullshit and that is okay. I just hope that one day you will see that all of this negative ego manifestation is what is keeping you from accomplishing your potential and dreams. The blame game does not account for your faults which inhibits your ability to change for the better. You will never change and always find a new scapegoat for your anger and lack of satisfaction in life. I hope this is not you, but if it is... Just breath and have a positive day with your family and friends. That is what really matters!

It's not exactly anger and bitterness as much as it's irritation, like from a cold sore or diarrhea. He bullies, scoffs, ignores, generalizes, and vomits from his lungs what he wants to be words. It's hard to express emotion via posting online, though, and I think if you just wander the boards some more you'll find loads of smart, levelheaded conversations from impassive, unbiased perspectives.
You'll also find tools, but there are always tools.

Email all of your friends with the list, and emails or phone numbers of the companies, tell them about the boycott, and have each of them email their friends.

      Just say no…to pro-Islamic morons.

Seriously. who do those hags think attacked New York? Lutherans?

Since when saying “Muslims killed thousands in 9/11″ means ALL muslims killed thousands in 9/11?

The fact is that ''Muslims attacked us in 9/11″.

Muslim fundamentalist, our invasive foreign policy was what fueled the attack (we were in the middle east far before 9/11), our inattentiveness preventing any stopping of this attack. If you want to blame the religion, the blame religion itself because Hitlers hate for the Jewish steamed from catholic teachings in that time but we dont blame Catholics we blame Hitler. If you are saying that religion was the only factor or the biggest then i say we must turn away yours too because its only a matter of time until you lose your sanity as much as they did.

What the Attack on New York City on September 11, 2001 WAS was it was Karma served up cold
Poetic Justice more than half a century in the coming
We vaporized two of their cities
they collapsed two of our towers
we incinerated 200,000 of their innocent civilians
      they buried 3,000 of ours

all that you do will come back to you
what you give is what you get returned

On August 9 and 12, 1945, The United States of America, at the direct order of then-President Harry Truman, became not only just the FIRST, but also the ONLY nation in the recorded history of human civilization on Earth, to use thermonuclear weapons of mass destruction against another sovereign nation
      in peacetime, no less
over 200,000 innocent Japanese civilians in the cities of hiroshima and Nagasaki were instantaneously vaporized in a flash, leaving behind nothing but their charred blackened burnt shadows on the sidewalks where they stood
Americas brutal and vicious attack was not simply merely just an assault on the sovereign nation of Japan, our ally; but it was a violent crime against the whole world, an everyone in it
      against the human race itself
and the world has what can be sometimes an odd way of bringing the consequnces of your actions back around against to you
      when you least anticipate it

The Terrorist Attacks of September 11th, 2001 were perpetrated by Extremist, Fanatical Fundamentalist, Radical Religious Wing-nuts, called Al-Quaieda

The exact precise kind of Evangelical Reactionary Religious Right Wing-nuts that comprise up the entirety of organizations with such seemingly benign names as "Focus on the Family" and the "Foundation for a Better Life"
and, more recently, "Americans for Prosperity" and "FreedomWorks", the so-called "Tea Party" Protest Movement, and the Republican Party

      http://current.com/news/92673756_when-in-the-course-of-human-events-we-hold-thes....

      http://judgian12365.wordpress.com/2009/06/16/legalize-it-all-of-it/

"A primary, resounding and unsettling current example of the temperance of these liberties concerns groups, cults, and organizations; throughout the country, and the ideological spectrum, founded on the principles of prejudice, discrimination, and, all-too-often, active violence towards and against those of other ideological, racial, ethnic, or religious demographics.

These groups include predominantly, but not exclusively, those of the Ku Klux Klan, and other such White-Pride groups and, conversely, Dark-Power organizations such as the Black Panthers; as well as domestic splinter cells of religious fundamentalist extremist organizations such as Al-Qaeda.

However, in more recent times, and predominantly since the turn of the millennium, this ever-growing and expanding list of groups has begun, to an increasing extent, to include more home-grown; as it were; domestic extremist organizations; and many which have assimilated themselves into our national cultural identity; infiltrating into all; even the highest, levels of our government; and ingratiating themselves into the hearts and, increasingly narrow, minds of millions of voting constituents.

These, increasingly institutionalized, organizations; with names such as “The Foundation for a Better Life”, and “Focus on the Family”; present a frequently all-too-convincing façade of innocent, pious devotion to seemingly harmless Judeo-Christian ideologies.

This charade is in stark contrast to the underhanded actual activities of such organizations; which are, in fact, radical Evangelical Christian fundamentalist extremist fronts; espousing; at the very top of their voices, and through very nearly every available medium imaginable; a reactionary Catholic religious ideology; which is, at its very core concepts; just as much founded in a base of bigotry, extreme prejudice, and active discrimination; as any ever expounded by even the most fervent figureheads of the KKK or Al-Qaeda."

muslims may have killed people since the seventh century
but Christianity has been causing death and destruction on a massive, global scale since seven centuries before then

christianity has been the instigator and the cause of every single war, massacre, slaughter and genocide in the history of the western world for the past two millennia (or TWENTY centuries)
and the christian church has killed more different people, in more different places, at more different times, and in more different ways, than anything else in the nearly 4-million-year history of the human species on the planet earth

my point is that, while what the Islamic Muslim Fundamentalist Extremist Radical Fanatics did in Manhattan a decade ago WAS horrible and terrible and reprehensible,
the United States of America itself is by far and away nowhere even close to being above reproach
Americans, CHRISTIAN Americans at that to boot no less i might add, have committed some of the most vile and dastardly acts in the recorded recent history of humanity
      some of them VERY recently

and while the United States frequently makes an awfully bad habit of attacking, assaulting, and invading and occupying other sovereign nations without any cause or provocation
the fact is and remains that
no foreign nation, country or state or other power or entity has EVER attacked the United States of America without probable and just cause or without a good reason or sound justification

      yes
throughout the first half of the 20th century,
the United states of America had been quietly, and "under-the-radar" (so to speak, to coin a phrase [they didn't have radar back then])
buying, conquering, colonizing, and annexing island nations in the southwest Pacfic ocean: Guam, the Virgin Island, Polynesia, the Philippines,
      and yes, Hawaii too, also

this severely limited other pacific island nations such as Japan's access to the raw materials necessary to construct the type of infrastructure i order to build a modern industrial nation, of the sort that had been an Asian ambition since China was opened to trade with the rest of the world in the late 18th and early 19th centuries
the Empire of Japan perceived that the United States was using its world-power supremacy status, gained primarily in the aftermath of the First World War in Europe, to become and Imperialistic Hegemony of its very own
and the Empire observed that the vessel of America's conquest of Japan's own its nearby next-door neighboring islands was the United States Department of War (the 20th Century's predecessor of the modern-day DOD and DHS) at the Pentagon in Washington DC [the pentagon is actually really in Arlington, Virginia) and its military's Navy, specifically the Pacific Fleet, based out of and stationed in Pearl Harbor, near the capital city of Honolulu on the island of Oahu in the recently-annexed Pacific island archipelago, and newly-christened 50th state of Hawaii

The Japanese believed that, were the United States' conquest of the Pacific Islands to be allowed to continue unchallenged, that the Island Nation of Japan would be next

      Here's the thing is;
as we would later find out after the Second World War ended in 1945
They could not have been more RIGHT

You don't even understand the point he was trying to make do you? The only thing that stands in the way of radical evangelical crazies acting in a similar manner to radical Islamic crazies is the fact that the majority of Americans would refuse to put up with them.

I doubt the evangelicals would stone women for adultery but given the chance would pass laws forcing a woman to conceive a child even if it was due to rape, or threatened the mothers life. They would criminalize being gay even though the loudest of them are closeted gays. They would destroy all the advances that women have worked so hard to achieve. They would work constantly to undermine scientific advances, ESPECIALLY any that contradicted their world view. The impact to the medical sciences would be extreme because they would terminate all research that involved dead embryos, dead fetuses, stem cells and the like. The would reintroduce demons and witches into our culture because they really believe that nonsense. In essence they'd drive us back to the Middle Ages.

There are cultural distinctions between the two groups but their core natures are identical i.e. 'believe as I do or suffer the consequences'

and yet we, all americans, as a nation continue to carry on playing the "Whoes Are Us" card every September, every year for the past decade
we use it to unilaterally start "crusades" [holy wars] against the cultures of other religions
to invade and occupy sovereign nations
to bomb entire countries into barren desert wastelands
and to massacre tens, even hundreds of thousands of innocent people in far-away parts of the world halfway around the globe
      preemptively and without any provocation
it cannot really even be considered to be "revenge killings"
since, by its very definition, "retribution" must be against someone who actually could have possibly had anything to do with what happened to you

      Question after September 11,2001:
"How will We Defend ouselves against the Jihadists?"
      [Jihad:= Sacred Struggle]
      Unelected George-Bush/Dick-Cheney Regime's Answer:
      "We will wage a Crusade!"
      [Crusade:= War for Christianity]

When right-wing American Militia extremists detonated an explosive-filled truck parked in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995– the deadliest domestic-based terrorist attack in US history
claimed 168 lives, including 19 children under the age of 6,
      injured more than 680 people.
destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a sixteen-block radius,
      destroyed or burned 86 cars,
shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings.
estimated to have caused at least $652 million worth of damage.

Did we go to war against White Anglo-European Christian Natural-Born Citizens of the United States?
      Of Course we didn't
if we had, the Republican "Tea-Party" GOP would have ceased to exist
and we would have had to invade and occupy most of the southern states south of the mason-dixon line
and bomb the Midwest and Plains states into a barren dessert wasteland

if our unilateral preemptive war against Islam and the Muslim Arabic culture and society in the middle East and West Asia is, as the unelected Bush/Cheney regime referred to it a "Crusade" against "Terror" (defined in any dictionary as "extreme fear", a primeval and primordial human emotion)

It makes one wonder at times what it would have been that we would have called our military invasion and occupation of the MIDWEST against the Christian European "Culture" and "society"

if we're going to play the "woes'r'us" victim card every fall and autumn, we should at the very least take a special moment to remember all the other things we have been a victim of,
      including each other
      as well as ourselves
we've been attacked ONE TIME, maybe perhaps twice (in our entire history) by radical fanatics from a far-away country halfway around the world
we've been frequently attacked literally COUNTLESS times by radical fanatics who are citizens from our very own nation

      which begs the obvious question:
"When America attacks ourselves, who is the victim then?"

as the most perfectly divine and infallible in all of creation, one that can do no wrong, and is utterly above reproach, and above and beyond all others, on some higher ethereal plane of existence, and will never fail nor fall from its high perch of excellence

There is no paranoia or delusion about protecting our borders from invasion by Illegal Aliens... it is for protecting the peace and sovereignty of this nation citizens... that, my friend is common sense.

I know that America is not perfect, nor is any nation, but I'll take America with all it's warts and blemishes any day as it is - as compared to the collective horror that the elitist progressive statist will subject this country's citizens (soon to be no less than subjects) to should you and like minded demagogues were to have their way.

I submit that it is you who has on blinders and a closed mind, if you don't perceive that there is an political ideological war of one 'ruling class' over another for the control of the govt and the people... already we have allowed govt to seize way to much control - EXAMPLE:

I'd like to make you a business offer:

Seriously. This is a real offer. In fact, you really can't turn me down, as you'll come to understand in a moment...

Here's the deal. You're going to start a business or expand the one you've got now. It doesn't really matter what you do or what you're going to do. I'll partner with you no matter what business you're in – as long as it's legal.

But I can't give you any capital – you have to come up with that on your own. I won't give you any labor – that's definitely up to you. What I will do, however, is demand you follow all sorts of rules about what products and services you can offer, how much (and how often) you pay your employees, and where and when you're allowed to operate your business. That's my role in the affair: to tell you what to do.

Now in return for my rules, I'm going to take roughly half of whatever you make in the business each year. Half seems fair, doesn't it? I think so. Of course, that's half of your profits.

You're also going to have to pay me about 12 percent of whatever you decide to pay your employees because you've got to cover my expenses for promulgating all of the rules about who you can employ, when, where, and how. Come on, you're my partner. It's only "fair."

Now ... after you've put your hard-earned savings at risk to start this business, and after you've worked hard at it for a few decades (paying me my 50 percent or a bit more along the way each year), you might decide you'd like to cash out – to finally live the good life.

Whether or not this is "fair" – some people never can afford to retire – is a different argument. As your partner, I'm happy for you to sell whenever you'd like ... because our agreement says, if you sell, you have to pay me an additional 20 percent of whatever the capitalized value of the business is at that time.

I know, I know. You put up all the original capital. You took all the risks. You put in all of the labor. That's all true. But I've done my part, too. I've collected 50 percent of the profits each year. And I've always come up with more rules for you to follow each year. Therefore, I deserve another, final 20 percent slice of the business.

Oh ... and one more thing.
Even after you've sold the business and paid all of my fees, I'd recommend buying lots of life insurance. You see, even after you've been retired for years, when you die, you'll have to pay me 50 percent of whatever your estate is worth.

After all, I've got lots of partners and not all of them are as successful as you and your family. We don't think it's "fair" for your kids to have such a big advantage. But if you buy enough life insurance, you can finance this expense for your children.

All in all, if you're a very successful entrepreneur, if you're one of the rare, lucky, and hard-working people who can create a new company, employ lots of people, and satisfy the public, you'll end up paying me more than 75 percent of your income over your life. Thanks so much.

I'm sure you'll think my offer is reasonable and happily partner with me, but it doesn't really matter how you feel about it because if you ever try to stiff me – or cheat me on any of my fees or rules – I'll break down your door in the middle of the night, threaten you and your family with heavy, automatic weapons, and throw you in jail.

That's how civil society is supposed to work, right? This is America, isn't it?
That's the offer America gives its entrepreneurs, is it?

And the idiots in Washington wonder why there are no new jobs.

Yes... there is much amiss in America, thanks to the idiots running it, and the idiots electing those same idiots again and again.

      That is my disdain.

"Editor's note: This week, the U.S. government released several key economic reports. To spare you the fine details, just know unemployment is getting worse. And one manufacturing report was so bad, some thought the key number was a misprint. These problems are so severe and so much in the public eye right now, that we're doing something unusual for our Saturday guest essay...
Our sister site, The Daily Crux, called this essay the "best rant of 2009." It's no surprise it's from our colleague Porter Stansberry. While it was written months ago, we believe this is far and away best insight you can possibly read on the unemployment situation in America.

I use info from various sources to exemplify a point, just as you've just so handily done here.... so do you have a point beyond the one that I just previously made?... I think not.
Really Ian, it doesn't take much to see that when govt takes upon the task to control through 'regulating' the business sector, (initially with good intentions) it is usually with little to nearly no understanding or foresight of the long term impact of that which they seek to control.

To paraphrase Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi; "We have to pass this bill, in order to see what's in it".... Oh yeah, that is just exactly why there is no jobs, when our governing politicians cannot see far enough into the future the possible or probable results of their 'altruistic intentions'.... especially when their primary focus is really upon the results of their next fund raising campaign.... That, my friend is not bullshit, but fact.

the unelected GW Bush/Dick Cheney Regime's "War on Terror" ("terror" defined in any dictionary as being a variation of "extreme fear") is a picture-perfect example
if we, as a nation, were to slash our present annual federal government budget for the Department of Defense at the Pentagon to just 5% (1/20) of what it is today [altogetehr fully very nearly HALF of the Federal Government's total whole annual budget]
(which we could, it is my belief, quite easily do, if we were to just put a stop to our habit of unprovoked and preemptive carpet-bombings and armed military invasions and occupations of other sovereign nations on the far side of the globe)
not only could we provide guaranteed universal health care to every single american citizen
as well as eliminate college tuition in order to provide free secondary higher education to every single incoming freshmen high school graduate
but we could also eliminate our current multi-billion-dollar annual budget deficit shortfall, balance the federal government budget, and have enough of a annual budget surplus to have all of our entire multi-trillion dollar national debt paid off by, at the earliest, the middle of this century (2050's), and most certainly by the end of the 21st and the beginning of the 22nd century
and we would quite easily still have by far and away the best trained, best equipped, and most technologically advanced armed military fighting forces the known recorded history of human civilization has ever seen

I think we can agree on that. . . rampant deficit funding with virtually no responsible oversight or accountability seems to be the norm, doesn't it?

I, for my very own personal self, happen to be of the belief that those in the Government are mostly, if not all, quite intelligent people
but they are, among other things, performers on a stage
and any smart performer plays not to the best of their own knowledge, but to their audience
and the american people are, above all else, short-sighted, selfish, self-centered, and self-important
they tend not to care all that very much about anything except for what is happening with themselves, at this very moment in time
so, playing to that constituency the leadership of our government only pays much attention to that which reaps very short-term gains.

Unfortunately intelligence does not exclude foolishness. . . and without a doubt I do concede that we have short-sighted, selfish, self-centered, and self-important bureaucrats that are the epitome of representatives that reflect the ethics and character of their constituencies.

Never the less, who's really in control?
.... judging from the cultural, financial and political chaos we are besieged with, and the continual pointing the finger blame game, it actually appears that it is no-one.

    • The harridan harpy Goldberg has often said that the U.S. Government was behind 9-11. Remember, this is the same woman who defends Mel Gibson, has had six abortions, etc., etc. She is not the brightest bulb in the bin, and only in our society could something so ugly and stupid make millions of dollars by being so stupid.

Behar is an unfunny comedian who thinks of herself as brilliant. I hate the fact that so many people think she is Jewish (She is not.). She is just another lump of lard posing as a credible human being.

How debasing to apologize to these dumbass hags because he told the entire butt-naked facts about Islam!

Another aspect of this is the suppression of free speech yet another time. Leaving aside O’Reilly’s flaws, it is disturbing that on The View (sic) he is not free to express his opinion without the childish action taken by the hags. Incidents like this mean that people cannot express their views for fear of the reaction of the other.

So Behar and Goldberg, in a miniature sense, are acting like Muslims. People appease Muslims because they fear their reactions, and thus suppress free speech.

Now, people suppress their reactions to the View (sic) hags because they fear their reaction. A Muslim-like suppression of free speech.

Awesome, I see you took time to do a little research prior to your responding. Question: What religion was in that Bible Belt? Great ofservation that they were hate groups.. mainly professing Christianity. The fact is I consider myself Christian. I have served my country and spent time in Iraq, Kuwait, Greece to name a few. I have met many Muslims. They are people just like you or me. If you do a little more research, you will probably come to the conclusion that the pure Muslim faith is not that much different than Christianty. Just as we have hate groups, etremists, or whatever you wish to call them that do "unthinkables" in the name of Christianity, our cultures or even our country that we do not sanction as a whole, we do not all want to be associated with them. Just give Muslims that same respect.

Ryan, obviously you don't have a clue. The terrorist were an extremist group that proclaimed their muslim belief while committing an atrocity. This by no means subject the entire religion to being terrorists, If you want to classify the entire religion as terrorists, lets go both ways.

ajackass, you obviously don't have a clue and or any reading comprehension(a problem that plauges a lot of people on these boards). Yes, the muslims were an extremeist group that professed thier muslim faith- you took the words right out of my mouth. Now, when did I say that classifies all muslims as terrorists? I never did (that must have been one of your voices or a reslut of your inablitiy to comprehend what you read.) Now, again, Timothy Mcveigh and the unabomber commited atrocoities, but unlike the muslim terrorists their atrocities were not tied to their faith in any way nor were they motivational factors. that is the difference.just like you said the muslims professed thier faith with those atrocoities, well tim v or ted k never did. So, when someone compares 9/11 to the unabomber or oklahoma city when trying to defend the islamic faith, they are simply wrong, beacuse they are really comparing the fact that it was a terrorist act, but the fundamental difference between them is that there were no religious factors with tim v or the unabomber. Understand now?

Over all you are right, Muslims are just people... their 'faith' however is not at all a 'religion of peace', it is anything but - many such as you, and amazingly enough, most Muslims don't even have a clue what the Qur'an actually says.
You're right, I don't want to be associated with them... I have no tolerance toward a faith that believes that it is morally superior to any and all creeds, cultures and religions.
One that I might add, thats vows to subject all of mankind to its oppressive monotheistic rule, which Islam has and will use any means (deception, violence, terror, mayhem and fear) to do so.

This is must watch Moron TV.

So two co-hags on “The View” walked out on Bill O’Reilly because he had the nerve to say that Muslims perpetrated the 9/11 attacks. But don’t worry. His “nerve” was short-lived, because he quickly apologized to Muslims and the co-hags, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, returned upon his moronic apology.

      O'Reilly, WHERE ARE YOUR TESTICLES?

This is a great example of why American women (and gay men) who watch daytime TV have minds of mush.

      The whole scenario was nauseating.

Oh, and one last thing, about who did 9/11: They were Wiccans from Fiji.

Whoopi Goldberg a/k/a Caryn Johnson gets upset when people tell the truth about Muslims perpetrating 9/11, but defends Helen Thomas’ anti-Semitic comments and Mel Gibson’s abuse and Roman Polanski’s rape of a 13-year-old. Remind me again why it’s acceptable that she mockingly stole a Jewish surname for showbiz.

    • This is a riot. I read down about a hundred posts and saw more hatred from the posters here than I ever did on O'Reillys show. Also he does not shout over the people he disagrees with on his show. Many people just don't answer the question he poses. Oh, they talk around it very well but don't give an answer. Makes many of us frustrated also. I think O'Reilly is not tough enough on a lot of folk he has on as guests. He is certainly nicer on them than I would be. He does a good job of presenting both sides but a lot of the other side from him, as I said, just don't answer the questions.
I don''t watch The View. What little bit I have seen of Joy Behar and Whoppi Goldberg has shown me that Ms. Behar is marginally intelligent but I like Ms. Goldbergs stuff. I don't know why they walked off the show, they should have stayed and debated the issue instead of stomping off like children. Unless they have been living in another universe they have to know O'reillys position on this. It's no secret.
OK now those who wish, now go ahead and thumb down my post, refer to me in hateful negatives and vile adjectives because we all know that there is no room for differing opinions from liberals. I'm going to have a glass of wine. Happy Friday.
