Israeli Soldiers 'Shoot At Children Collecting Gravel'

The_Global_Report
The Independent reports that the Israeli military is being urged to investigate the recent shootings of at least 12 impoverished Palestinian teenagers and young men collecting gravel in an effort to eke out an income within 800 meters of Gaza’s heavily guarded northern border.

i dont know, but less so than to send your kid strapped with explosives to be martyred.

oh maybe its just a gut reaction to what tends to happen when young palestinians are at borders with israel.gee hmm, i wonder what any other country would do.oh yeah, we invaded and overthrew two counties, didnt just shoot some kids.hundreds and thousands of them.

gee how indoctrinated does that makes us?

    • Humanitarian catastrophe.
If Jews really think Jerusalem is their homeland , then how could starvation and white phosphorus bombs be the option?
It give me the impression that to some Jews,Jerusalem is just another resort out side of the USA.

Israel has the most advanced military technology and the most smart brain ,
      but lack of Tao.
      Laser-guided bombs Vs Suicide bombers
      Not wake up yet?

      starvation?
check the population of the palestinians over the last 62 years and please show us the decrease, cuz they have only been growing.unless you are supposing the palestinian's poses an entirely different genome than the rest of humanity, that growth would be impossible in the face of starvation wouldnt it?

what does belief in a section of real estate belonging to some one, and thier tactics?
to pose it in a way that would make you question it similarly, -if the palestinians believe that al-qud is thier homeland then how could suicide bombings and rocket launchings be an option?

if you think jerusalem is a resort, i would hate to see where you vacation.i personaly like my resorts to not require bullet proof vests in order to survive visiting them.

just so you know, you are equating judaism, and its perspective with that of israel, wich is not a theocracy.in doing so you are branding all jewish people with the errors of the israeli government.would it be reasonable for anyone to state that christianity is fucked up, cuz of our military or government? or islam is wrong, cuz thier governments more often than not are?

just letting you know how you are being manipulated, if not manipulating others.

    • Israel needs to stop building settlements on Palestinian land if they are serious about peace talks.

This is the only way to prove that they really want to work with the Palestinians.

maybe the palestinians need to decide if it is palestinian land or not.
israel builds a settlement, and it is a violation of palestinian soveriegnty.when they complain about israel though, it is that israel is occupying thier land.
so either it is a soveriegn state, and should function as such (especialy as they have thier own independant government) or be part of israel, and appeal to the kinneset.they cant play both sides simultaniously to a beneficial end.they are pulling some shit, and we (including israel) are falling for it, and are subject to it.

im not defending the settlements by the way, it is a dick move on israels part.

exactly what is antisemitic about this report of a secular army killing civilians?

can you please clarify? please? how exactly is the london independent being antisemitic? did they suggest anything to the effect of jews being subhuman or evil? no. they merely said that children had been shot near the border by the IDF. there was no hate speech. you are wrong. this is not about anti semitism, if it had happened between canada and the US the outcry would be the same. all you ever have to offer in the debate over israel and palestine is that those who oppose the violence by the IDF are anti semitic. you are a chronic case study of godwins law.

war naturally causes hatred, especially when repeated war crimes are involved. white phosphorous? killing civillians with bulldozers? what's next? will your shining IDF come up with a solution to the "palestinian problem"?

oh and you can count on my up vote canceling your down vote out, every single time.

it is antisemitic in a rediculous myriad of ways, but here are the big two.
1-the source of the story is hamas, wich doesnt really have a great track record with truth, as they are literaly a terrorist organization.you can call it the guardian, or london independant, or what ever, but the only media allowed to issue news from gaza, is hamas.lies are lies no matter what the letter head is.

2-facts of this event are few and far between.so much so that the entire piece (of crap) is just a stream of israeli bashing.it covers over 2 years worth of events, only acknowledging israel's negative actions, as if to imply the palestinians are just innocent, noncombative, by standers, wich even the most simple of the simple know is far from the truth.rockets dont self propell.rocks dont hurl themselves on thier own.but that part seemed unimportant somehow when reporting a conflict.an entire sides participation in the conflict under discussion was ignored, and replaced with bleeding heart hyperbole like "desperate" and "victimized".its actualy post modern revisionism.

they did, the blockade.check out the terrorism stats since its application.solution found.

how come israel's combating terrorists is war crimes, but the actual instances of terrorism from the palestinians dont qualify the similarly? why when israel kills citizens with bulldozers is it a war crime, but when palestinians do it, its not mention worthy?

collecting gravel in and of itself isnt threatening.but in a war zone where such seemingly passive behaviors repeatedly turn out to be covers for terrorism it raises eyebrows.
israel didnt see how building materials were threatening either, until qassams started landing with a shitload of building materials in them causing greater collateral damage.

      um no it isnt.
being as the gazans, and thier elected leadership are at a defacto state of war, it is a matter of defense.
it is the exact kind of thing that happens in violent conflict, that leads to a nation being secure.

are you under the impression that the little drummer boys who escorted us into battle in the civil war, werent killed?
you think we arent shooting iraqi and afghani kids similarly as they are used as fodder?
are you residing at the magic kingdom at disney?

if you are a drug dealer, would you go to the lethal mexican border knowing of the conflict that exists there?
do you suppose thier is a palestinian of any concious age unaware of the 62 year old conflict with israel?

I've been wrong before, so while I'm reasonably sure you're joking..I've had to deal with ayipis constantly, so he's kinda got me on edge.

even more idiodic is believing this as an actual account of events.
i mean all ya gotta do is take about 30 minutes of your time and watch the global reports coverage of israel, and it is pretty clear objectivity is a liberal notion to them.

i invite you to check out global reports submission history, and just look at the ones that pertain to israel.the pathology is more than clear.if you have the time and inclination to watch them all, you can even start to not only notice they only have demonizing things to say about israel, but they do a whole lot of lying by omission.

ive long since stopped concerning myself with global reports sources, as it is clear they arent above just making shit up.but when ever a story about gaza comes out, remember that hamas controls ALL media that comes from there.they allow no other journalism in gaza aside from state run.the closest media you can get anything that resembles the truth (and not a bias attack) is from the israeli, and egyption press.and even then ya gotta take its narrative in context of agenda.

your no slouch.you didnt notice the omission of information.operation cast lead devistating palestinians with no mention of the preceeding rocket attacks.is that reporting? or literaly just telling chronicaling israeli acts of violence, with a vague narative linking them together to a demonizing end?what did half of what was reported have to do with the story at hand other than that?

yes israel prevents concrete from making its way into gaza, but then they inspect it, and once deemed not a means of arms smuggling send it through.egypt doesnt even bother to do this, they just close the border straight up.but why mention the south eastern border when trying to kick israel in the teeth.like egypt is a no concrete zone of some sort.they can smuggle guns and rockets, but not concrete?

the whole thing is beyond absurd.

hey, soldiers may have shot at the kids for all i know, but it sure wasnt comprehensive reporting.like when they love reporting what horrible things happen to palestinian kids (no adults as of late huh, coincidently just the hear tugging poor kids) but miss the part where the kids were asking for it.

      what rock and mask?

yup.but what gets more covergae that or the 4 shot dead by palestinians from the bank?
wich story gets more attention, the two shepherds or the kids "run over" by the "settler".

it all gets reported to some degree, but the focus is on the bleeding heart kid shit.every time

    • at this point, if you reported the population of the palestinians, it would be suspect.
