Financial institutions on Wall Street are preparing to pay a record 144 billion dollars in compensation and benefits, according to a study published in the Wall Street Journal. The payout, covering bonuses, premiums and stock options for the firm's executives and employees, is a four-percent raise over the previous record 139 billion dollars that was handed over in 2009.

But, but, but, those hard-working people, they went through 4 or more years of COLLEGE. That entitles them to be kings and queens of the hill for the remainder of their LIVES, don't you know that Lionheart?

The number 144 billion is right interesting because the Bible has 144,000 "bought from the earth" to share Christ's kingdom rule. Forever.

It's just another slap against the Bible. Nothing to see here, move along!

    • Bring back the eighty percent tax bracket on all income above five million per year. Selfish pigs who think they are entitled to excessive bonuses. This is the type of behavior that will bring those taxes back. Guaranteed, just time thats all

What you are alluding to, dear fellow, is a very common and accepted practice in America, especially Wall Street. It's called money laundering. But since it's being done totally out in the open it's okay => they are operating in Full Transparency, just like "The People" wanted.

You are not being rolled in an alley. Whew.

    • "Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."
