It seems that most of you guys are missing the point and the reason this type of thing should piss you off no matter your political affiliations. This incident is a direct violation of the first and fourth amendments. What kind of backward world to we live in where people think this kind of thing is okay just because of what party the candidate these men were working for is affiliated with? The people in the audience should have stood up against this travesty with actions up to, and including if needed, physically restraining the parties in question.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that the members and sympathizers of the Tea Party are getting angry and standing up to be heard; I believe wholeheartedly that everyone in this country needs to do the same thing. I just wish that this outrage didn't come from misinformation and false propaganda.We need to be standing up as a nation rather than drawing these imaginary, Fox News battle lines with words few people even grasp the meaning of anymore, like liberal and conservative.

The most alarming aspect of this event is the realization that those on the right actually WANT this type of reaction from the police and military...to have political police in brown shirts with nightsticks at polling places and rallies is a dream come true for these people. This goes waaaay back to the days of Nixon and the entire "law and order" platform they campaigned on and everyone knew that "law and order" was a catchphrase for keeping the minorities and "pointy headed intellectuals " in their place. does Kent State ring a bell?
