You can go round the Body Works display and wonder if it is science, art or morbid curiosity. Though the latest news reports he will be selling some of the plastic resin bodies over the internet for around £61,7333 for a full body.
"Torsos will be on sale for around £50,154 while human heads will be on offer for £19,495 each. Animal parts are also available. [...]He has never shied away from controversy and in 2002 he went ahead with the first public autopsy in 170 years in Britain, despite concerns that he could be arrested. "-Telegraph
However, von Hagens insists only medical experts and scientists will be able to purchase the bodies from the online service.

But as I understand it, they are not actually "bodies".
They are plastic resin, and no organic tissue remains.I don't see why this should be controversial.
