The owners of the building gave permission for the Artist ROA to place a rabbit on the side of their recording studio, in a move the artist told them was to get move wildlife in the city. Work by the artist is shown worldwide with a recent commission in Brazil.

Though they've since received a letter from Hackney Council warning the the art work would be removed and the company sent a bill.

"If it was some horrible graffiti then they'd have a point, but it's a thing of beauty in Hackney Road, which is not the greatest area in the world. Among the bingo halls and shops you've got a really nice artwork, which really adds something."-Guardian quote from studio owner.

Hackney Council stated they cannot be the ones to judge art from graffiti, but they were previously criticised when they destroyed a Banksy piece. So far the Rabbit remains, but the owners are unsure for how long, with fans stating it could be a piece of tourist attraction.
