Independent launches new 20p 'i' newspaper

So is this just the next step for newspapers to catch up in a busy world? The independent today launched its 20p 'i' paper, which the paper states is for people who are short for time but want real news.

""Time-poor newspaper readers, and especially commuters, have been telling us for years that they are inundated with information and just don't have the time to read a quality newspaper on a regular basis," said Independent executive Andrew Mullins."-Independent

This might work, but is it too late since the release of the iPad and other techy news sources.

    • Purchase a copy of "i" when I was in the financial city earlier, at least it doesn't have OTT unnecessary information like one-sided analysis, when I read it in a coffee shop...
