Hundreds of Haitian protestors marched in the city of Mirabelais, toward the NATO base which housed Nepalese nationals and demanded they leave the country.As of Friday morning, the disease left 330 dead and 4700 hospitalized.
Experts have not yet been able to identify the origin of the epidemic, but several are guessing that the disease arrived from the outside. Up until this month, not a single case of cholera has been diagnosed in Haiti since the middle of the 20th century, according to Claire-Lise Chaignant, head of the global task force on cholera control at the World Health Organization.
