According to the Twitters, it is British Sausage Week where I'm assuming bangers and mash are a must have meal. The website seems to archive this week long event as starting from 2009, so happy 2nd anniversary Sausage Week, you strange event I've only just heard of.
The website is filled with meat based recipes for anyone who still loves sausages after watching the Apprentice contestants making some meaty treats.
Though this event starts on the same week as World Vegan Day, so I'm guessing there is no conflict there.
