Problem, Reaction, Solution: “Crisis is an Opportunity”

In May of 2010, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Managing Director of the IMF, stated that, “crisis is an opportunity,” and called for “a new global currency issued by a global central bank, with robust governance and institutional features,” and that the “global central bank could also serve as a lender of last resort.” However, he stated, “I fear we are still very far from that level of global collaboration.”[1] Well, perhaps not so far as it might seem.

    • Yeah. Because just the federal reserve worked out so well.

Our founding fathers dealt with the same bullshit in their time. The rich, asshole bankers were trying to instate a world bank back then to take the monetary power away from the people... so that it could be easily controller by industry leaders. We're too stupid now to see that losing the gold standard was the beginning of this process all over again. Our money's value is manipulated and our work is devalued more and more. We live in an empire, people. Your money might as well be fluorescent with pictures of the monopoly guy on it.
