Rally To Free Ex-IRS Agent Who Admitted The IRS Is A Fraud & Refused To Add To The Ponzi Scheme

Sherry Peel Jackson, a former IRS agent, is a political prisoner being kept in a cage because she concluded that the wealth she earned was not owed to the criminal U.S. government. She’s featured in the late Aaron Russo’s Freedom to Fascism (see her at 1:55 in this trailer for the documentary) and here’s the first of a two-part video about Sherry and her situation.
She’s almost three-years into her four-year sentence and needs our support.
How can you help?
* Join us at noon on Nov. 10th outside the Federal Correctional Institution at Coleman, where she’s being held. Here’s a Google Map to the location of Sherry’s cage.
* Invite your friends. Share this post or the event on Facebook.
* Make a video or blog post expressing your support. Include “Free Sherry Peel Jackson” in the title to help with branding.
* Write to Sherry:
* Sherry Peel Jackson
59085019
FCC Coleman Camp, F1
P. O. Box 1027
Coleman, FL 33521-1027
* Contact the media. Encourage them to cover the event.
* Inform those in your sphere about the immorality and illegality of the IRS. Theft is theft, whether it’s done by you, me or a stranger who believes their badge or title grants them such authority (more on this from Voluntaryist.com/Taxation).
* Share your ideas with others so we can learn from each other and have as big an impact as possible. Leave a comment here or on the Facebook Event.
Props to James Cox, the point-person for the Fully Informed Jury Association here in Florida, and everyone else with whom we’re collaborating to make this event a reality. Unfortunately there are many good, peaceful people like Sherry that are being kept in a cage for actions the U.S. government deems “illicit” despite the fact that there is no real victim. Learn about some of them, and if you’re so-inclined, send them a letter or postcard for free via Mail-to-Jail.

OK I acknowledge Amendment XVI, but my question is does our taxes have to be done in such a way that the average person in most cases can't understand this ridiculous and inefficient process. Business owners have to hire tax experts to handle their taxes because they are so confusing and time consuming. Also we have taxes on taxes aka EIC tax and inheritance tax, in laymens terms that's called double-dipping. Furthermore the IRS receives about $500 million in compliance money from the gov't, who do you think is paying the tab on that bill? The other reality is our tax dollars are going all over the place and not working to America's benefit, including our roads which are on the brink of becoming third world. When I say all over the place I'm talking about the UN, Iraq war, $68million worth of aid going to China who is supposed to have a growing economy. What we have right now is too much taxation with very, very,little representation. This woman should not be jailed for exercising her 1st Amendment Right. The IRS is a private organization, they should not have this kind of tyrannical power.

Now is the time to take action and show our support for a brave woman who was willing to take a stand that will benefit us all. Now is the time to hold the perpetrators of these crimes against the people accountable for the hurt and despair they have caused because of their insatiable greed for wealth and power and what has amounted to Lynching by Taxation.

It's disgusting what they did to Jackson and I hope they release her soon. Regardless of what anyone thinks about the IRS, this is an atrocity of the highest level. She was brave enough to stand up against the IRS and went to prison for it. Taxation is theft, no matter how you spin it.

Income and property taxes are theft by coercion. Sales and use taxes are much more fair and do not require the use of coercion.
Perpetual, creeping monetary inflation is also an unfair, hidden tax on our savings.

Yes it is, there are millions of people that have fought the IRS and have found it is illegal to tax people. There is no law that says you are supposed to get taxed until you die.
Find me that law and i'll gladly say i was wrong, but you can't and won't.

Taxation is permitted under the Constitution. You can say it's your opinion, and that's fine, but it's not a fact.

This is an atrocity of the highest order. Sherry Jackson should be a free woman. As far as that goes we should all be free but will not as long as we are bound to the government via economic slavery.

How will you be getting there? By driving on the roads paid for with taxpayer money?

Great question, which brings us back to the fact that we would LOVE to end the monopoly on road grants and allow a much more efficient transportation network than currently is allowed under statism. It comes back to Murray Rothbard's argument over libertarians use of statist monopolies,...such as roads. It is not our fault that the road system has been monopolized to violent politics, so we should not think twice about our apparently forced usage on such items. It is not our fault that the road system is monopolized to coercive bureaucrats, but we can still fight to end this monopoly!

The roads are meant to be paid for by taxpayers. Those citizens that purchase gasoline, also pay taxes at the time of purchase intended to improve and maintain our roadways.

In a system without coercive taxation, roadways would likely be paid for on a per-mile basis anyway, as they currently are, by and far.
Then again, without governments preventing the usage and implementation of highly efficient forms of alternative transportation, people likely wouldn't take the roads that often anyway.

The federal govt. needs to get out of states business. Infrastructure is not part of their critiria. We pay the federal govt. taxes...then they take their cut, and then send pennies back to the state for roads. States need to keep the money, cut out of the middleman, and prosper.

If our tax dollars were being used efficiently our roads would be in better condition. Remember the bridge that collapsed a few years ago? The more people that are unemployed the less tax reveues our gov't will receive.
