MSNBC suspended "Countdown" host Keith Olbermann Friday after the news that he donated to three Democratic candidates.

Politico reported Friday that Olbermann gave the maximum individual donation of $2,400 to three candidates in Tuesday's election: Arizona Reps. Gabrielle Giffords and Raul Grijalva and Senate hopeful Jack Conway, who lost in Kentucky to Republican Rand Paul. (Grijalva appeared on Olbermann's "Countdown" on Oct. 28, the same day the host donated to his campaign; Conway was last a guest in May).

    • Don't forget all the free advertisement that FOX gave candidates that wouldn't even go on any other network! Now it's time for FOX to clean house, oh wait, they won't!

    • Another example of an inept, out-of-touch opininator who through his own arrogance and unchecked ego screwed himself out of a job which paid him much more than he is worth. A violation of the "ethical" standards of NBC certainly would be rare but this clown managed to pull it off. Since his ratings remain in the toilet, he certainly won't be coming back, not even to MSNBC, which is at the bottom of the cow pie pile already. Congrats big K! Go find a real job if anyone will hire you.

I think that the idea that he violated something ethical gives MSNBC some credibility. I wonder how much O'Rielly and Beck donate.. With out a doubt they do contribute to politicians.
