I've heard of non-Western men who would be assumed "straight" in the West engage in oral intercourse with one another. Japanese culture supports marriage as a purely economic union while both the man and woman in the marriage can seek sexual companionship with whoever they want outside, regardless of sex. Sexual identity is a Western construct that isn't compatible with other cultures. We have to stop trying to view relations in other cultures through our self-aggrandized lens.

My Grandparents on my Fathers side believed in greeting with kisses on the lips "quick Pecks". I never really thought much of it until my Daughter was born. Now it seems very inappropriate after a certain age.
