Communist Facist Dictator Castro Whines About Video Game

HAVANA (AP) — Cuba harshly criticized a new video game in which U.S. special operations soldiers try to kill a young Fidel Castro, saying Wednesday that the violent role-playing glorifies assassination and will turn American children into sociopaths."What the United States couldn't accomplish in more than 50 years, they are now trying to do virtually," said an article posted on Cubadebate, a state-run news website.

The brouhaha surrounds one of the most highly anticipated shoot-em-up video games of the year, "Call of Duty: Black Ops," which went on sale in the United States on Tuesday. The game, from California-based Activision Blizzard Inc., takes players on secret missions to American Cold War enemies such as the Soviet Union, Cuba, Vietnam and Laos.

The Cuban operation is one of the first challenges players face in the ultra-realistic game. The mission takes place with John F. Kennedy in the White House in the months leading up to the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion and the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, which brought the world to the brink of nuclear Armageddon.http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5i2g9xxfshkOBVItjL1vjT_Vu3VYg?d...

    • Congoboy you really need to get an education so you can step outside of your ignorance and dogmatic prison. At least consult a dictionary or encyclopedia before demonstrating your ignorance by using the wrong words to describe things you think you know about.

      Castro's Fascist Roots

According to his former professor and biographer, Dr. Herminio Portel-Vila, the early heroes of the “young intellectual” Fidel in high school and university were none other than Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, the Spanish Falangists -- and Argentina’s Juan Peron, whose heroes were also all of the above.

The activist young Castro was so enamored of these Italian and German “national socialists,” he would memorize and recite their most famous speeches verbatim to his schoolmates. And since Mussolini had himself been a self-proclaimed Marxist during his own “young intellectual” years (and then Italy’s leading Socialist), Castro’s affinity for him is not so strange after all. http://www.amigospais-guaracabuya.org/oagjg002.php
"We're going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing." -Che Guevera

"The Negro is indolent and lazy, and spends his money on frivolities, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent."- Che Guevara

"Mexicans are a band of illiterate Indians." - Che Guevara

"Given the prevailing lack of discipline, it would have been impossible to use Congolese machine-gunners to defend the base from air attack: they did not know how to handle their weapons and did not want to learn," - Che Guevara

Che Guevara also railed against "long hairs," "lazy youths," and homosexuals.

You are quoting a fascist organization to prove your point that Fidel is fascist....no wonder you are so confused.

Then you post some quotes from Che to demonstrate...what? That he is somewhat racist? Those quotes don't make him a fascist. Did you put those hoping I would react to the mention of their anti homosexual views?

Congoboy....you get me a communist source that says Fidel is a fascist and then I might take it seriously. But this is mere propaganda from the noble class, the aristocracy of Cuba...the ones that left there when the revolution occurred. They are in league with the clergy of the Catholic church and their whole purpose is to confuse the truth and project themselves as the true Cubans....with the right to govern the future of Cuba.

      Get real.

    • Castro is not a fascist...you need to get your terms right Congoboy

Fascism is Corporate control of government together with military, aristocracy, church and clergy.

Castro is a communist dictator based on the proletariat system.

fascism has 9 distinct characteristics: Strong central government, no personal freedoms, strong sense of nationalism, strong militerism, traditional gender roles, minority discrimination, anti-communism, imperialistic, no class revolution (IE unions, special interists and so on). key characteristic there? ANTI-COMMUNIST! Mussolini aligned himself with the Catholic church. Germany and pope Pius the 12th constantly talked and worked together to use propaganda on the masses. The communists on the other hand were declaired Atheists. The Spanish civli war (pre-WW2), and Hitler and Mussolini's rise to power were all fought and fueld by Fascist parties deciding to stop the communist parties before they could gain enough seats to gasin power. The majority of pre-WW2 battles in Europe were fought between communist and fascist forces, with the right wing supporting the later and the left wing supporting the former. Castro is a communist, the exact opposite of a fascist. explaining the difference over and over and over again is starting to grate my nerves.

correction: What the USA never seriously attempted. He'd be dead if we really wanted him dead. and it's too damn bad our congress prevented that. He should have been assassinated decades ago.
