Actually, the only people I've said I'm smarter than have been really stupid people, so by that at most I'm claiming average intelligence.

If someone is smarter than Sarah Palin that does not mean they are a Mensa candidate.

And Bubba was a Rhodes Scholar. Bush and Palin can't really compete on this field. Sorry, tverdell, but there is no comparison as far as intellectual achievement.

Picture if you will, an episode of Jeopardy and ask youself, of these four people, who are the early eliminations going to be? The guy that we misunderestimate or the chick who thinks Africa is a country are going down way before the others.

Define intellectual. Having met two of the three you people you have listed. One is the kind of guy that thinks he is cool but is nervous and just clueless to what was going on around him and the other was totally in the moment, relaxed and was asking in-depth questions. I would say the latter has intellectual curiosity. The other one was very impressed by Don Johnson in Miami Vice. I'm just say'n.

Would you agree that Obama at least has the intellectual capacity to read a newspaper? Bush has no interest. I don't think you can fairly compare Bush to Obama or Clinton in terms of intellectuality.

Both Clinton and Obama are incredibly intelligent men. Clinton has some emotional maturity issues about sexuality, but he is still a smart man. Obama's main flaw is that he is to willing to compromise- that is not stupidity. You may disagree with things they have done, but that is not the same as saying they are stupid.

Plain and Bush- now THEY are stupid. Actual stupid. Not just "oh I disagree" but truly stupid people.

I would define it as someone who seeks answers to questions, rather than simply accepting the first answer given and sticking to it.

An intellectually curious person constantly investigates, and changes their position based on the information they obtain.

Palin believes the earth is only 6,000 years old, there was an Adam and Eve, and there was a flood. She has no intellectual curiosity.

I would say that Bush and Palin are intellectually Challenged and have attempted to compensate by pretending to be something they are not. Does Sarah Palin really need to wear glasses? or are they a prop to make her appear to be intelligent? I'm Just Ask'n .

Yeah, well, at least she's not a legacy like Bush. God knows that helped him.

The only people that would vote for her are the ones that are in the same mind set as she is. None educated, kool-aid drinkers.
