Whoa!!! Can You Blame Them? Dems Want a New Face

ALBANY, Ga. — U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop Jr., D-Albany, said Wednesday that it is time for Democrats to seek a new face for the party.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently announced plans to seek the House Minority Leadership position despite crushing defeats by Democrats in the midterm elections.

“I have nothing against Speaker Pelosi; she has worked tirelessly to bring Democrats together,” Bishop said. “But given the fact that we suffered substantial losses in the election, I think a new face is needed for leadership of the Democratic Caucus.     • oh lord i nearly spiit my soda out my nose! thanx congoboy for making sure i was awake, and would probably not sleep for awhile!! on the story though, she is an egocentric megalomaniac, and sadly the few demos who have a clue are willing to leave her in place to be a lightning rod so they can do their dirt in the shadows, and come election time disavow her to fool more voters

    • Possibly Pelosi will serve well as a constant reminder to the electorate just why many self-serving politicians were ousted, and give even further cause for more "house" cleaning - no matter from which political spectrum.

    • I hope the dummycrats keep Pelosi. She's the BEST thing that could happen for the GOP. Between her and Reid, we could continue to rail against the far left in the party. The Democrats have lost their centrist members, all that's left is the out of touch far far faaaaaaar left, and with the GOP now pushing to ban the ear marks and cut spending, if they are successful, they will gather a great deal of support from the center.

      So, PLEASE keep Pelosi, you shit for brains democrats.
