    • Slavery was outlawed in the Kingdom of S.A. in 1962, but is still practiced among the elite. Many thousands of unsuspecting Indonesians have been brought into the kingdom to fill menial job openings, only to have their passports confiscated by their "employers" and realize they are alone and at their complete mercy.       The average American does not realize in the least the level of arrogance that an upper class Saudi exemplifies. He believes he is superior to you because he is Arab and because he is Muslim. His culture tells him that he is entitled to use another human as his slave and tool and his religion gives him the guidelines with which to do so. Non Arab Muslims seem to be much more democratic and are rather like Christians in the way they pick and choose in their holy book which (achaic) laws they are going to follow.
      I find it disturbing to read how ignorant US citizens are about Islam and their own Muslim president (who has expedited his political career like so many others by showing up at the right church). Obama has written in his own words that when the proverbial sh*t hits the fan, that he will stand by the Muslims. The pic below from "crystalman" clearly illustrates his adoration of the Muslim elite. An American president bows to no-one. That moment is taken from the life of a subservient non-arab Muslim. Downvoting it beacuse you don't like it doesn't change the reality. It is immature to try to punish a reality for your dislike of it.
      I grew up an American in Jeddah, S.A. in the 60's and 70's. The Saudis are a warm, family oriented, hospitible, generous, very funny and engaging people. It was a privilige to live amongst and know them. On the flip side, it is a fact, in their culture, that any non-muslim deserves to die and is fair game for any Muslim. If he kills them, he will be rewarded in paradise. That's just a jumping off point for their point of view. A point of view which allows a person feel perfectly all right about brutalising unto death a helpless menial. This behavior is practically epidemic in elite Saudi households and is such a well kept secret because the victims are destitute, homeless (w/out their host family) friendless and powerless. In this modern world, these people ARE SLAVES and some of their stories are beginning to leak out.

      Heres another recent occurance of this nature. If the Saudi man convicted of this murder serves his time and goes back to Saudi later, they will kill him for homosexuality. It was shown in court that his slave was his lover and as the man had no defensive wounds that he "allowed" the prince to kill him.

Bush and Bush Sr. were both personal friends of the Saudi royal family and had extensive business ties. Egypt has recieved billions in military aid. Obama had no need to go behind anyones back and what difference would it make anyway that this was finalized when congress was in a recess.
