yes, it is a life. but even those that worship all life as equal regardless of species must concur that we are a life form as well, and as such issues plaguing humanity are important. while an argument can be made toward the societal implication of a race that includes members that would do this sort of thing, it should be far lower on the list of priorities considering the issues we face today that an argument could be mad affect all species on this planet.

i agree wholeheartedly with all you say, i just dont agree that it is the most pressing, r even top 5 most pressing, problems of the day. although were we to look deeper to discover what in society or genetics or whatever allows such a person to so such things, then i would say that is indeed a very pressing issue. and punishing this specific case is important. but devoting heaps of time and space rounding up an internet lynch mob ala /b/ to mete out punishment to me is not the way to do things.

We can only do, what we can only do one step at a time. There has to be a beginning to an end. If it were starving people killing animals for food, so be it, however, killing to be entertained and turned on is wrong and needs to be stopped. Be it evolution or creation (you pick your own beliefs) we have a conscience for a reason; to tell us what is right and wrong. Those without conscience start small and may end up killing something bigger and more exciting. Eventually it may end up being a man, woman or child being killed.
