It has become clear that Current is loaded with Liberals who vote down articles and comments simply because they do not fit within the liberal ideology.
Likewise, many internet sites are filled with right wing propaganda, as well.
We need to shake off the shackles of the false left/right paradigm and join forces to fight the real enemies/terrorists, the international banking elites.
Obama, Bush etc are simply puppets/traitors to the people/criminals/liars/deceivers, etc.

Well, reading some of the comments below really disappoints me. When will the American people wake up and realize that the false left/right paradigm was designed to do exactly what is represented in many of the comments below....divide people over issues that are insignificant when you consider the fact that the international bankers are stealing every piece of property and resource in the country and around the globe. We need to unite against the establishment of a scientific global dictatorship. Please put aside your petty differences; join forces with friends, family, and activists in your community; and prepare to fight for your freedom.

False left/right paradigm! Carroll Quigley! TRAGEDY AND HOPE! FALSE DICHOTOMY! INTERNATIONAL BANKERS! ILLUSION OF CONTROL! PROPAGANDA!
While you and few others are still wasting your time defending Obama and/or Bush, others are waking up from the illusion of liberal/conservative ideology constructed to divide and conquer the masses.
I guess it is easier for some people to stay with simple issues which give them the illusion of control rather than confronting the issue for which it may appear hopeless.
The greatest threat to humanity is represented by the global elites, international banking elites, the status quo.
The peoples of the world need to Wake Up to this reality so that we can stop them before it is too late!
If we do not act, I believe we will witness a holocaust in America and around the world that will make the Jewish Holocaust pale in comparison.

Why do so many discussions on this and other sites break down into left vs.right. When will people realize that the international bankers want us fighting about anything other than the fact that they are deliberately destroying our country. They are stealing the property and wealth of the nation.
As a homosexual, I will be the first to argue with anyone about gay rights; however, I am willing to join people who may not agree with me in order to fight the biggest threat to our freedoms today; the international bankers.
The false left/right paradigm was deliberately constructed to divide the masses. Bill Clinton's mentor, Carroll Quigley, wrote about the origins of the false left/right paradigm in his book, Tragedy & Hope. Note: Carol Quigley was an insider.
Carol Quigley wrote:
"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one perhaps of the Right, and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.... [E]ither party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same policies."
Watch Ron Paul exposing the fallacy of the left/right paradigm in the video posted above.

"The false left/right paradigm was deliberately constructed to divide the masses."
painfully true, and anyone who can't see that is clinging to a nostalgia for something that never was...
but why would you believe that one man, Ron Paul, could stand up against this massive power structure and make anything change?
Look what they did to the Kennedys for daring to defy them...they are truly a shadow government, they operate in the shadows, and avoid being seen. They put idiots like Bush and Palin out there as their puppets because it doesn't matter how stupid either Palin or Bush are, they aren't going to make any real decisions anyway, and it looks like all they were willing to throw at Obama were the crumbs left over when they finished feasting on the blood, sweat and tears of the entire world. These people are insane with greed, and they merely tolerate Ron Paul because in some demented scheme we haven't figured out yet, he serves their purpose.

You are absolutely correct. I have stated many times that "if Ron Paul were elected tomorrow, if he posed any real threat to the existing power structure, he would be eliminated rather quickly".
The reason I support Ron Paul is because he is a Libertarian who appears to appreciate the importance of our liberty/freedom, inalienable rights, etc.
I can claim to know what else may reside within Ron Paul's mind/heart, but I do believe that he is mostly concerned with confronting the global elites.
People like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are our best, last hope for change via the political system in America.
