On a call with reporters, Education Secretary Arne Duncan depicted the "Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors" (DREAM) Act as a critical step forward for the nation's economy as well as its moral character and commitment to freedom and opportunity.

"For our young people, for our country, for our country's economy, we desperately need to pass the DREAM Act," Duncan said. "We have a chance to do it now in the lame-duck session. I simply don't think we can afford to wait."

    • Imagine the gall of legislators who have already been voted out of office forcing taxpayers to pay for the college education of illegal aliens, and when they leave Washington, there will be nothing we can do about it. This is exactly why we need the Repeal Amendment.
