Julian Assange must be, by now, a household name. In fact, he has risen to such prominence that US Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) wants Eric Holder to designate WikiLeaks a terrorist organization, and that Assange himself be charged with espionage. So, will he be tried in a civil court, a criminal court, or shall we take this all the way up to the International Criminal Court at the Hague?
As she well should have, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton strongly condemned the release of these documents and indicated that she and the President are determined to pursue 'those responsible' very vigorously. In fact, this is such a threat to our national security, that she decided to take off on a trip to Central Asia today. If you have seen her on video making her statement (she was also shown on almost every cable channel that I was able to get my hands on), she is extremely stern and severe at the beginning of her condemnation.
