Interesting article and poll. However, the GOP doesn't really give a shit about what anyone says, including their own constituents. If you simply change the initials "GOP" to "Corporations/Wealthy Americans", the reason for this idiots comments become obvious.
Unfortunately most Americans can't conceive of playing the power game on the same level as these sociopaths. These men and women are vicious, self-serving cut-throats who will do or say anything to get what they want. An armed revolution is the only thing that will stop them.

How much would the average tax cut for middle class be, five hundred or so? Personally I would be more than willing to give up that amount and more every year to see the top two percent pay their fair share, and start getting us out of the hole. Borrowing money from China to give them a tax cut they don't need is ridiculous.

Typical religious nutters hiding behind their stories and the collective super-conscious to justify inhumane actions still does not mean that they are a different religion than what is. hardly christian?Like most christian religions."the church of JESUS CHRIST of latter day saints" is listed under christianity(not islam or buddist or satanic or tribal).Agree with Dogma or no(personally not a fan of Dogma either),the Fact still remains.
Boehner is not a good person(maybe to his family or his district)but NOT to humanity, regaurdless of which God(s) he attemps to hide behind or people he is hoping to assimilate - 2 years ago

There was this great political cartoon in the NY Daily News, I think it was Thursday. I can't find it online but it was a picture of Boehner as a child in bed and his mother was reading a Christmas Carol to him and he was thinking "That Scrooge is a pretty cool guy". I should have scanned it. :D

If there is anything we really don't want to do, it's preserve a tax break for every American, up to the first quarter mil they make, after that, the wealthy can chip off another 3.9%...they can help in this crisis when middle class people who work for a living are losing their homes and their health car and their wages, and living with more polution, and chemicals in their food, and crappier schools. Buck up you rich spoiled brats and do your share. Quit hiding behind your pathic, childish libertarian dogma and take part in your communities. Even you would benefit from a healthier community, with fewer hungry children, with less crime, less depression and less suicide! Grow the F-UP!
And you, Boner! In the words of your friends Bill O'Riley, Rush Libaugh, and Glen the F-Beck, SHUT UP! The people are pissed, just like you keep sayin' but wait till they find out it really you and your cronies who are ripping them off of their hard earned retirement and starving their kids. There are a lot of them you know.
Why, the F do you think we working people should subsidize you and your teabags while our kids have to eat crap from the food bank?? You douche.

Who would Boner's running mate be if he runs for president? What's with this party and it's followers perverse fascination with sex that they would vote into office and support any boob? Completly a misrepresentation of what he said.
By the way for the last 7 years we were told by democrats that the tax cuts only favored the rich, but some how in the last 2 months democrats are sure quick to defend tax cuts for the middle class.
But wait.? If you would have listened to nancy pelosi a year ago she would have told us there were no tax cuts for the middle class. All those people were rich.

I believe it is correct, the headline of course! And why would you have a problem with just the middle class tax cuts staying place? Gotta ask, are you making over 250,000 a year? And since Bush imposed these tax cuts on the wealthy, they have cost us almost a trillion dollars in deficit spending while creating zilch jobs.

Oh hell I wish. But I do know farmers that gross over 250,000 a year and they sure as hell arent clearing that after expenses and renting the farm land that they rent
I ask you, is the 250,000 on gross or net income. I believe it to be gross although I could be wrong.
Now to let ya know, the farmers that raise cattle pay about 1000 per head after all is said and done, feeding, meds, transportation, and so on, they sell the cattle for around 1100 to 1200 depending on the market. The farmer down the road has a couple thousand head throughout the year. I know he grosses well over that. He lives no differently than I do. He drives an older pick up truck and his house is like mine a 70 or 80 year old farm house. He cant afford the higher taxes. Believe me , I have no trouble with people who are netting over half a million or more paying higher taxes but to nail folks who own small businesses with this tax is not right. grossing 250,000 a year with a small business does not in any way shape or form make you rich.

Ihatethemall:
It's after expenditures, and currently that is only roughly 2% of the working population. And those that hit that number still receive the Bush tax cuts up to 250,000 dollars. 97% of small businesses won't be hit by getting rid of the tax cut. It will totally blow your mind who's been getting away with being called a small business for years. The list of major corporations that have been getting small business loopholes for years is what Boner is trying to defend, and of course the individuals that are truly fat cats.

Yes it's time to send the Republicans an E-Mail and not the Democrat's. Send it to their offices and call them what you will, try too keep it civil and remind them 98% of Americans need the tax cut and the Rich can kiss my ass! Two days ago I sent Mitch McConnel an E-Mail telling him was a pompous ass he is, for getting in the way of unemployment for American people that will go hungry thanks to ass holes like him. I also told him he needed to get his ass kicked, so far no FBI agent has showed up at my door step. Calling or sending an E-Mail this time to the enemy of the people the Republican congress is what is needed other than your Democratic representative.
