Breaking UFO News : Answering reader questions in The Guardian, Australian-born Assange said: "Many weirdos email us about UFOs or how they discovered that they were the anti-christ whilst talking with their ex-wife at a garden party over a pot-plant. However, as yet they have not satisfied two of our publishing rules. 1) that the documents not be self-authored; 2) that they be original.

    • This is just so much fun.

      We need to remember that the cables are citations, and they may well be lies. WikiLeaks doesn't say any of this is true, only that the American's wrote it down.

      Any thing with the date April 1st should be taken with more than a grain of salt.

      I don't doubt that there are secret cables about UFO's, but whether the people who wrote them did it for amusement, personal gain, or because they were crazy is beyond me to say.

      I will wait for the little green man from NZ to buy me a beer before I start to take UFOs launching from the bottom of the sea as a real and present danger to the maritime traffic. It would be more likely that Captain Nemo is celebrating his 120th birthday.

    • wow - more unsatisfying (dis)information...like the disclosed british ufo files, the tons of us officials that want to go to court (Disclosure Project) or things like the implants, star child or all the things that are hidden from real research or public....i expect nothing!

      It's doesn't NOT mean aliens either, 'idiot.' And if 2010 governments with all our technology are referring to objects as UFOs i would be quite shocked if they meant large birds, asteroids or fancy unknown jets from other countries, at least the US and UK govts.

    • in a wierd way, that validates the cables authenticity.
      unidentified flying objects happen all the time.not aliens, just objects that cant be indentified, and that is the most hush hush of all stuff.
      if ya got those in thier, it makes wiki appear on the level.
