They will of course, appeal. We need a good class action lawsuit against them of farmers and consumers joining together.

If it keeps people from getting sick and suffering from debilitating diseases than yes. Should have gotten a job at an honest company that doesn't try to fuck over the ignorant population.

Seriously man, if you're going to attack him, you've at least got to do it in a way that's not simply an unfounded emotional appeal. You're basic argument seems to be completely based on ad-hominem attacks that suggest you feel like he's a moron for not agreeing with you. I'm not here to say he or you are right or wrong, but at least use some facts when making your argument, right now you sound like you're an angry 11 year old kid, and that doesn't help your argument at all.

You have got it backwards! Farmers hate Monsanto!!!! Monsanto wants to turn Farmers into slaves. Monsanto has sued hundreds of farms for supposedly having planted one of their crops when some seeds blew off their truck into their crop. Nobody wants their GMO crap but it is subsidized by our shitty government so inevitably some do. You should learn more about the world around you, it might help when posting useless comments.

he's a moron for blatantly failing to somewhat recognize the dangers of monsanto. that is my problem. you just cannot defend that. i just got out of my rhetoric class homeboy. you didn't teach me anything about aristotle's appeals. its a matter of moral. an ethical one at that.

Whoa, chill out a little bit man.... If you just got out of rhetoric class then you ought to know that it is a logical fallacy AND an ad hominem to call someone a moron because their beliefs don't align with yours. That's all I'm saying. Frankly I think you might be right, but I also don't think it's as black and white as you're making it out to be. There is another side to this issue and one that MrMxyzptlk is trying to present in the his posts but instead of debating him on rational terms or presenting any kinds of facts to support your position or attack his position, you're attacking him personally. That's not what you want to do! I'm sure your rhetoric class taught you something about how to have a logically based argument, so use some of those tactics and it might make you look like you've actually got a legitimate position rather than generic personal attacks to throw at whoever doesn't agree with you. There are facts that support your position, so use them!

Let me get the record straight.... it took years of research and development, training for employees and god knows what kind of investment capital to create these GM sugar beets only to be yanked from the ground before the roots can take in? The basic principals of growing genetically altered food at it's essence is illegal and for plenty of good reasons. What the hell were they thinking? And it's not like Monsanto is a small company either that doesn't know what they are doing... they have over 21,000 employees with billions in revenue. There is a lot more going on here than we know about.
Still... I can't determine which is more an atrocity of god; the once USDA approved genetically modified sugar beets or the South Korea fluorescent cats.
