This guy is very interesting. He's so articulate about what's really going on with government control over the people. Of course, governments are all controlled by big business and big banking institutions whose sole purpose is to monopolize and control the people. ("It's good to be king!") It's not just our country. It's every country, every government. If we keep supporting this illusion of ours that our government will take care of us, we'll never find what true freedom is.

Well then explain it.... he said taxes are like pointing guns at people.... I agree, what is he trying to say? In his example, you were owed something for your hard work, so trying to claim your property (YOUR EARNED paycheck) is simply trying to claim your property. Taxes are not owed to anyone, and it's all stolen (taxes). I hope he or she understands the difference between the two examples....

Read it again : "Taxes are to Stealing as Your Paycheck is to Robbing your Employer at Gunpoint."
This means that taxes are no more a theft than is receiving a paycheck from your employer. In other words, when you receive your salary (from your employer), you are not robbing your employer at gunpoint. Likewise, taxes are not stealing from you.

Why would you need a gun to collect your paycheck unless the person was already infringing on your property rights by not giving you your justly earned property (wages)?
You EARNED your paycheck, thus, no one has to point guns at their employer to receive their paycheck (unless the employer is bad which the corporatist government's statism only goes to give protectionism towards).
Point being, the paycheck is YOURS, earned voluntarily through labor. The government money was extorted from the population by the threat of imprisonment through jail time...by coercion.
This is not earned money, nothing was voluntarily agreed to, it is simply theft....literally at gun point.
Can you really not see the difference between earning a paycheck and extortion (taxation)?!?

You still did not understand. If you don't like taxes, don't use or avail yourself of everything that tax money has provided you with. Dont use roads, don't use tap water but dig your own well. Don't go to school, don't send your kids to school, don't expect a pension when you retire, and leave society and civilization altogether (they will be far better off without you and your ilk, that's for sure). Taxes are NOT extortion, only an idiot cannot see this fact.

All Employers underpay their employees. They have to. The company takes precedence over workers. Then later when the employer realizes he has survived another year instead of relinquishing the excess to the workers he runs down to a church and plops it in a preacher's starving hands.
He becomes a Pillar of the Community, he and his children highly prized and respected. Employees will never miss it anyway. May as well put their wages to good use because as everybody KNOWS the workers will only waste it.
Working for someone else is the activity of a fool.

I don't want the government monopolizing all these utilities! I want them out of my life completely, and I DO try to eliminate my burden from government where I can.... but it is impossible when you are enslaved to them. Murray Rothbard had a great book an precisely this, where he said, it is not our fault they have us trapped to their monopoly, just do what you can to minimize your government damage on society....
Schooling would be much better and cheaper without state corporatist oligopolization!
Taxes ARE theft, and you obviously can not PROVE otherwise...until then, I am taking the definition of the word...which is money taken against people's will...which is stealing. How can you deny this simple FACT?!?

shanklinmike:
Underpay is very relevant when it becomes an industry-wide standard of defrauding workers. The reason I brought it up is because it combines in with your hypothesis to show the total situation is more than just a taxation-only offense.
American taxpayers were getting stuck for taxes AFTER already taking a shiv in the gut. Taxes alone could be considered tolerable, and so far it has because workers have not understood the cesspool depth of their situation.
Just like Minimum Wage. When that was passed during my teen years the workers were fooled into thinking it was a big plus. It was not because human resource personnel proceeded to make it the standard wage where everyone was hired. You applied for a job they would say "you have to start HERE because we start all people HERE" and the worker started THERE so that after 2-3 years employment they would be doled out enough raises to be getting paid what they should've been paid when they were hired.
By doing that the worker was always being paid behind what he should've been paid. So now we have 3 scams used to hammer down the American worker. You know all those Blacks standing around looking Lazy and shiftless? hahaha They were smart enough to know the cards were all marked.
Yours is only one of several marked decks.
And the trucking companies were even better at it. They started hiring drivers with many different levels of pay. You had the base mileage pay, then you had loading/unloading pay, layover pay, extra stop pay, all kinds of ways to get paid. So you'd take the job thinking you'd be taking care of your family. In reality all those extra ways of getting paid was impossible to keep up with and the companies invented all manner of ways you didn't qualify for 2/3 of it.
That's why today the quality of drivers has bottomed out. Trucking companies worked their way through too many good drivers screwing them out of proper pay, taking advantage of them being super tired to fight with the Payroll people every week to get paid properly.
The Employers of America suck rotten eggs. They're puke, vomit.

And the same thing happens with health insurance! The stench isn't just in the Payroll departments. Health insurance will pay for all manner of shit you don't need but then something that would benefit your quality of life they have YEP => all manner of reasons why it isn't right for them to pay it.
American citizens know the score. They get trashed every way they turn.

You're missing the simple picture. Taxes are taken through force and threat of violence. The money is extorted. I don't like the way the roads are built and maintained, I certainly don't like the public school system, and I DEFINITELY don't approve of the military industrial complex. Yet, I'm FORCED to pay for these things. Money is automatically taken from each of my paychecks. How is this civilized or peaceful and not violent and thievery again?

Have you ever tried to USE the government to protect your rights? It's all hype, they don't protect your rights, they protect the major lobbying interests. Government doesn't derive consent from the governed, since they simply initiate violent force against anyone who doesn't consent to their existence. Choice would mean that you have the option to say no altogether, but I don't remember seeing that on the ballot. A majority rule is still a violation of my rights, even if I am one of the ones who would "choose" government if given the full array of choices.

As a matter of fact yes. For a society to be truly healthy a certain amount of chaos is very desirable. As one for instance, if they did away with the Minimum Wage that rides us like we're all children then people would start negotiating for better wages and the Society would enter a new level of very refreshing prosperity. Plus employers would have to be more honest with their employees!
I worked for a company in Richmond Virginia named Dixie Container. They had a so-so union. Well, the front office beat us down lying to us how giving us a raise would cause them to close the doors so we buckled and took what they gave us. A month or so later they purchased 20 of these German devices to put in the truck fleet that cost $3,000.00 a piece. They were a fancy chronograph for telling them when a driver stopped to take a leak or rest his eyes.
hahahaha Go smoke something. We need more chaos. Without chaos they shove more screws into American worker's back.

It was more than 20. They had two other plants. It was over 50. They refused drivers a raise saying they were about to go belly up then they spent $150,000.00 to buy a clock for each truck. hahaha
It goes a long ways toward explaining why I lack funds to build my engines. American Workers are the trashed.
