We need a spotlight on criminal charges of sexual misconduct and rape. These charges have been abused for sometime now and many innocent lives have been destroyed due to wrongful accusations and incarceration. Revenge, child custody, political or economic gains are just a few common reasons for the false accusation of sexual misconduct and rape. The real victims of sex crimes will suffer.

If you smear the "Big Boys" in the public eye with their "dirty" laundry, if legal or not, the consequences are inevitable, like it or not.
* [...] "Presently, our ability to attain knowledge is threatened because said knowledge represents a threat to the state — not to "national security," as is claimed, but to the legitimacy of the state itself. Julian Assange, through WikiLeaks, has made available to society a vast collection of information that undermines the state's legitimacy. Assange cracked the government's veil of benignity and brought into question the state's tactics." [...] http://mises.org/daily/4903

Even if Julian Assange is found guilty of rape and locked away, then I remain my focus on supporting WikiLeaks. After he serves his time, I will continue to support WikiLeaks with Julian working along with it.

If he is a sexual predator, what does that change about wikileaks?

A suspected rapist and wikileaks don't have much in common. Your argument that, "Would you let a rapist date..." has nothing, literally nothing to do with the validity of wikileaks. Julian Assange can be a suspected serial corpse groper, an undercover religious fanatic, or a chicken lover. None of these things effect the validity of wikileaks. The sexual assault (despite how valid they might be) charges are a pot bellied pig. They are a bit of political slight of hand.
If a woman cures cancer, but she turns out to be a pedophile; does that change the importance of the cure?

The rape charges were DROPPED last August in Sweden.
The real reason Assange was arrested in England is his connection to WikiLeaks which is not a crime.
How strange that the Brits would charge him with rape when he was acquited in Sweden where it supposedly happened.
This is obviously a smear campaign! - 1 year ago

His sexual assault charges within regards to Anna Ardin (she also goes by Bernardin) were dropped on August 20 by Eva Finn. Her case was in the process of being dismissed before she moved to Palestine.
The other two cases of, "sexual coercion and sexual molestation" are in the process of being reviewed after they were changed from, "molestation" and were previously closed. One of the women was so distraught about her experience, that she threw a party in his honor 24 hours later. Both women have freely admitted to consent to have sex with him, but that not everything that happened was consensual.
I have never heard of an international man-hunt for a man being charged with sexual assault.
He may be guilty, but he is innocent until the prosecution proves otherwise. My opinion is informed by the coincidence of the charges with the leaking of information. It is all I have to go on, and yes it is my opinion.
Thanks for chatting with me, it has been enjoyable.

By, "on the street," do you really mean, "under house arrest?" By, "being a sexual predator," do you really mean "one that gets consent first?"

Without his ability to move around to secret hide outs like he had before I believe either in house arrest or in prison he'll likely be killed by some US government team then they'll blame it on a patsy.
