So if it's not a "government takeover", what would you call the government mandating what you buy, fining you if you don't buy it, regulating what you buy, taxing you if your employer buys it for you, and basically sticking their grubby little fingers into every single corner our lives? What would the term for that be?

Heaven forbid that we should ever have a Government of, by, and
for We the People. That's got to be a failry tale someone dreamt up
to put children to sleep at night. What we did get put to us was the
usual Corporate Gummint though. As Jubal once said: Corporations
& their uberrich majority stockholder cronies wouldn't want Americans
to wake up from their la la land existence, because as long as they
sleep, they keep the pendulum swinging back and forth from irrelevant
Democrats to irrelevant Republicans which they both control like a
puppet show. Why ? So people won't notice the pendulum may as
well be still, because it's not realy any political movement that's
swinging it back and forth, it's only marking time, as the USA sinks..

Ever see a Punch & Judy marionette show ? The Corporation Party,
which dominates behind the scenes, and funds both puppet political
parties, has this statute written the way THEY want it written. To them
we're only their slave market. Julius Caesar once said Divide and
Conquer. That's the strategy which the Corporations use to play
Americans against each other. It's only when we're all united against
them that they'd loose their stranglehold of control. Through their
Corporate TV media, they've mind controled people to believe it's
Democrats vs Republicansm and conservatives vs liberals. You

have even gotten the TV employees acting as though they believe it.
And the politicians acting as though they believe it, so others immitate

There were doctors who advocated universal Medicare for all citizens
but they were ignored. I suspect there are still too many brainwashed
around misbelieving it's not the Government's province to attend to
citizens' healthcare which FDR;s New Deal established. Yet those
same dunderkophen believe it's perfectly OK for the U.S. military
machine to invade foreign countries, use a draft, and make citizens
cannon fodder to support Corporate Slavery & Piracy. If we don't take
this country back, we won't have anything but a memory to call the USA
as it was designed to be, imho.
