........ah,....the problem is "marriage" itself = simply NOT in the constitution.
The FED probably shouldn't be INVOLVED in "marriage" AT ALL. Contracts. People should be allowed to make any kind of binding PERSONAL CONTRACTS they desire to ,under the law.
