Nearly two years to go until the next Presdential Election and already the Tea Party is deciding how to slice and dice voters.

Here’s a new Tea Party plank: Don’t let renters vote.

Gawker reported that Judson Phillips, president of prominent Tea Party group Tea Party Nation, has a terrific idea: “The Founding Fathers… put certain restrictions on… the right to vote… you had to be a property owner. And that makes a lot of sense.”

    • so we're going to follow everything the founding fathers said...
      so tea party women, go home, no voting for you.
      black guys, you only serve 3/5 of your jail time for the same crimes that get white men years.
      that is if someone doesn't return you to the plantation your ancestors belonged to--

      OOOOH, that's their plan anyway isn't it. Only well off white men vote for our elected officials. GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE MAN

    • While people are still in the process of losing their homes , and fighting for jobs the good old tea party think tank has decided that it would be great to take away your voting rights as soon as your foreclosure is complete. Or if your a college student struggling to pay tuition , dont worry about "rock the vote" or "vote or die" it dont matter , you cant vote anyway.

      Good ole freedom loving patriots those boys are , indeed.
