Jim Buzinski, founder of outsports.com, blogger and advocate for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgendered athletes broke the story of three high-school boys who wanted to support each other, come out, help others and dance on The Ellen Show.
Not finding any gay sports figures to look up to, Brad Usselman, Ben Newcomer and Robert (last name withheld - on request) decided to make a blog to help support each other, and maybe help others be openly gay athletes.
"Three kids. Three time zones. One mission" - is the subtitle of the blog, Brad, Robert and Ben have chosen for their blog "Walk the Road". Walk the Road can be found on the wordpress URL - bradrobertben.wordpress.com
Buzinski, a long time journalist and advocate for gay sports, found the young men to be sincere, driven and admirable - making them and their website a feature on outsports.com.
