this is part of the very point i keep making, and keeps getting dismissed.
thier are antisemitic narratives that use israel as the vehicle.criticisms that use the israeli government as the focus, while the narrative applies to the entirety of judaism.
a lot of times, people arent aware of the fact that they are even being antisemitic, as we dont concern ourselves with the nature of antisemitism.if you were to say based on cencus stats that blacks are more often criminals by the population of african americans in prison, it would be racist.even if you were just stating a statistic truism, it is a statement that regardless of the espousers intent, is one of racism.in that it equates the color of ones skin as the factor unique.
when it comes to african americans, due to our history, we have a great sensitivity to racism, and consider what we say in regards to matters that relate to them to a great degree.we make an effort to not let loose lips make statements that could even be misconstrued as racist.we put an effort forth, in the hopes of clarity.we do not tolerate proliferation of what we all recognize as hate speech, as we know how it works in our society to a negative end.
we dont apply the same caution when speaking about jews or israel, and that allows for a whole world full of non racist minded people, to make statements that are in fact antisemitic.they dont know that it is.they dont mean it to be.but it doesnt change the reality, that it is.
as long as we (free people) keep pointing fingers instead of communicating, it will continue.not just in regards to jews, but any group of people that also have under the rug racism applied to them.as long as reactionary, martyr complex, victim card playing simpletons are given creedance, progress is stiffled.
instead of making claims, that are actualy racist, like the jews are oppresive, we instead understand what differenciates hate speach from legit criticism, we can progress.as long as the tact of "the jews do this that or the other" is viewed as the problem, and not the lack of understanding, division grows.
it is up to each and every one of us, equaly to learn.
