Fox Has Portrayed Obama As Un-American And Anti-American
Fox Has Questioned Obama's Religious Faith
Fox Has Dabbled In Birtherism
Fox Has Claimed Obama Is Biased By Racial Animosity, African Heritage

BillO is not in denial IMHO.
He and everyone else at Fox Right-Wing Fear and Propaganda Channel know exactly what they are doing and saying. They use their 'News' platform to spew what their audience wants and likes to hear. Those who watch Fox hate our President, and hate to hear truth or facts.
If Fox started stating truth or fact they would lose most of their audience so, BillO and the other puppets intentionally manipulate the facts to stay in the money and keep the hateful, fearfilled viewers watching and listening. - 1 year ago

Yesterday I turned on O'Rielly for a few minutes ONLY to see if he was talking about the interview. HOLY MOLY...he was talking to one of the dumb blonds and she was praising Billo like he had performed a miracle and walked on water! Billo was taking bow after bow.. He kept repeating how he hit it out of the park, kept making comments like veryone in the world watched and thought it was the best interview in decades! My jaw dropped because he actually thinks HE made the president look dumb!!! Can he actually be that out of touch?

I loved how when O'Reilly interviewed the Pres, he felt compelled to continually interrupt him, as he was answering a question, so that O'Reilly could ask another question.
It's like if he didn't like where the interview was going, or didn't like the answers he was getting, he would slightly change or redirect the question, until he hear an answer that was acceptable.
It's called baiting.Had Obama brought up the fact that it was Fox News which was responsible for a majority of people who "hate" him, due to the misinformation and distortion, O'Reilly would've put a spin on it, and said Obama was attacking FREE SPEECH.
You can't argue with Republicans. Once you start proving them wrong, they change the focus of the argument. Then you prove them wrong on that, so they change the argument again, or change the focus of it to something else.
They can do this ad nauseum. It's like trying to answer a 5 year old when he continually asks "Why?', and no answer satisfies. But I commend Obama on keeping his cool, and doing his best to appear bi-partisan.
If nothing else, you can see he's trying to be adult about the whole thing, give them very little ammunition, while trying to show people that he's not the imaginary boogie man that Fox has made him out to be. It took real Balls for him to even be on Fox....and now, cue right-wing trolls.

Propaganda Machine. Repeating a lie over and over until it becomes a truth. I have read some of the posts here and would like to suggest something...I do not believe that BillO is in denial...that would imply that he actually believes what he is saying. I find him to be disingenuous in his dialogue...I feel he is most certainly self serving, an opportunist in his quest for ratings and therefore his own wealth. He, as well as his cohorts, are predators of the simple minded or lazy or the unbalanced, or paranoid, and I will say it...some not all, are just plain racist.
I would feel sorry for him if he were just in denial...as it is...I think he is dangerous (as is all of Fox) for the country, in that, there are obviously people who buy this crap. People who are so adel minded that they are unable to investigate anything that is stated as fact on that channel. It baffles me that these commentators have any credibility at all. It takes very little effort, if you are able to read and navigate through you PC..to find the truth or at least prove an out and out lie. I think it is sad for our country that we have gotten to this point...that the bar has been set so low that it actually laying on the ground. The only thing that Fox News shows me is that the need for education reform in this country has reached critical mass. - 1 year ago

Why is Obama and the administration so passive when it comes to Fox? The administration should have a special team, whose duty should be to respond to all the lies and deliberate distortions by Fox. I cannot understand why this President seems to have the desire to want the wingnuts and Fox to like him. It is not going to happen.

I guess the world needs a foil to some of the wackjobs on other networks who feel the opposite. I consider Olberman and Ed Schultz, to name only two, to be marginally intelligent water carriers for liberalism who spew hate speech and ignorance. That said I don't consider MSNBC to be on a "crusade" against the Constitution. Fox reports what people are talking about, thinking about and the issues. I dont' see a "crusade" against Barry on Fox. Liberals and blind Barry supporters hate this because it calls into question their leader. What you are missing is that there are serious questions about the subjects listed in the article. Also, what you may not know is that many people have as much, or much more, disdain and contempt for his supporters. What Fox does is question Barry, his policies and background. These are questions that should be questioned. What Barrys supporters do is to belittle and demean anyone who questions Barry which has nothing to do with the questions but lives up to the liberal idea of attacking the messenger while ignoring the question. Fox is not perfect but it is the only news organization and network that is attacked on Current. It's the intellectual dishonesty of the left that earns them the contempt many have for it.

One thing I've noticed about the right wing is their overall disrespect regarding how they address or refer to when speaking of the person now holding office as the President of the United States.
Consistently he is referred to as Barack, Mister Obama or even as this poster calls him; Barry. They may feel this demeans President Obama, but it shows the lack of respect for our democracy, the position, the Country and therefore is both disrespectful and anti-patriotic. The irony is, so many of these persons consider themselves to be 'Super Patriots'. - 1 year ago

I'm cool if you oppose his policies (based on the actual merits of them and not just parroted misconceptions). Go ahead and dislike them. The reason I have contempt for Fox "news" is because they don't attack Obama on the reality of the issues. They attack him with lies and they misinform their audience. If you are cool with being lied to, go ahead and watch Fox "news". I will think you pathetic, but enjoy your freedom to do so. I, however, am going to keep exposing the lies because there might still be a few people who care that they are being misinformed by a HIGHLY biased news organization that has no respect for journalistic integrity. If you want to expose lies in the "liberal" media, please do so and send me the link so I can bash them too.
You seem to have a false equivalency... that somehow Fox's behavior is justified or equal to MSNBC because they have some biased hosts too. Bias is one thing, but bias that employs misinformation is something altogether different.
I see that you singled out Olbermann and Schultz. Can you expose any lies? Any deliberate misinformation? and also, if you find an example, can you prove that their lie spread through the network (MSNBC) to other programs beyond their own? And then, can you prove that this is habitual day-in-and-day-out behavior by the network? If so, then you will have proven that MSNBC is a misinforming propaganda machine just like Fox. That would make them equivalent because I could find thousands of examples of that behavior within the Fox "news" network.
I can even provide you with emails of directives by the executives of Fox in which they specifically tell the employees to cast doubt on certain issues, use catch phrases, and completely ignore other issues. That should be proof enough that your news source is twisted.
How many times do the lies have to be exposed before you snap to and realize that you have been played?
"Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened." ~Winston Churchill
"Truth never damages a cause that is just." ~Mohandas Gandhi
"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts." ~Abraham Lincoln

Who's this Barry person you're talking about?
Your rants make no sense. Why aren't you bashing Dave?
Yeah...fuck THAT guy.PS.
Fox News is bashed on current for many reasons.
#1 They're not news. Only fools, rednecks, imbred retards, and the uneducated think they are news. They themselves admit to being News Commentary. Which means they don't report the news, the comment about the news. They don't deliver information, just opinions about the information.#2 Fox News is not "fair and balanced", they are hyper-partisan right-winged campaign fund generators. Their purpose is to generate ratings by creating controversy, and help the GOP.
They create controversy by appealing to bigots, racists, fear mongers, and closed-minded individuals. Fox News: Not racists, but #1 with racists.#3 If Fox News didn't exist, there wouldn't be so much hate between the Left and the Right.
Sure, there's always been rivalry, but they use language that implies "taking action" against their enemies, calling US citizens "enemies of America", telling people to "reload", "empty the clip", and "set their targets" on someone. They compare people with Nazi's, when they themselves use tactics which were used by nazi propagandists.#4 The have been caught many times in lying to the public. THEY'VE BEEN CAUGHT/PROVEN to be LYING. THEY LIE to the PUBLIC. They LIE to their VIEWS. They LIE to YOU. You believe it to be news when it's been proven to be LIES. PROVEN. LIES.
Legally, if they were a News organization, the FDA could take them off the air.
However, since they are News Commentary, they get away with it.
They distort truths, they falsify information, the leave out facts; they lie.
In case you haven't gotten it yet, people who watch Fox News are watching lies. They absorb and believe the lies. -Then they turn around and accuse the other side of doing exactly what Fox does.
It's like when someone cheats on their wife/gf and they suddenly get suspicious that she might be having an affair. It's displaced guilt.Haven't you ever noticed that Fox is really one sided, and they include a lot of FEAR into their programming?
If not. I suggest you open your eyes. Not only that, but how many News organizations get caught with their pants down, because the posted something directly from Onion News. For those who don't know, The Onion is satirical news...fake news. News so ridiculous it cannot be taken seriously.
Yet, when incorporated into Fox New's website, it blends in, and looks completely serious.
The difference between the Onion and Fox, is the Onion is meant to be funny.

You "don't see a crusade against President Obama on Fox" ? So you are telling the world here on Current that Fox has NEVER told one lie about the president. They don't question his policies, they SPIN his policies and lie about his policies. Paratus, maybe you didn't read the study completed by Univeristy of Maryland that found that people who were most misinformed about issues during the November election were Fox listeners. Our political discourse in this country has been thoroughly debased by turning away from substantive debate on real issues to a freak show on Fox where myths matter more than truth and the everyone of FAUX aids and abets the process.
The practitioners of these myths are the Republicans, which has cloaked itself in an facade of manliness, patriotism, and moral rectitude even as the facts show they are anything but!
We already know that Fox News contributes money to Republican candidates only, that Fox News has hired most of the Republican 2012 presidential contenders to offer them in kind contribution of free air time as advertisements, we’ve already seen the leaked emails proving that they deliberately altered information regarding climate change, we already know that they repeatedly, deliberately present doctored video even after its been proven a hoax.We already know how they use their lower third to tell the audience what to think while carefully crafting their libelous falsehoods as questions, and we already know that Fox News used to read the Bush White House press releases right off the fax machine, typos and all, without even fact-checking them or offering any commentary. We already know that Fox News is dangerous, having witnessed the disastrous results of their calling the Florida election for Bush prematurely as well as the violence against innocent Americans ensuing directly from Glenn Beck’s show.
I challenge you to Prove any of my statement wrong Paratus.
