There can be an opinion with overwhelming evidence that people dislike the President, but this question causes the President to acknowledge that 'so many' people actually 'hate' him.
There is no good answer to a question like this, but the motivation behind the questioner is not left to the imagination.

Agreed, he totally softballed that answer and he should have demanded the respect OWED to the POTUS from any interviewer. I was very disappointed that he even agreed to do it and then to let O'REALLY? treat him so rudely was beyond what I could take.

One thing I've noticed about the right wing is their overall disrespect regarding how they address or refer to when speaking of the person now holding office as the President of the United States.
Consistently he is referred to as Barack, Mister Obama or even as this poster calls him; Barry. They may feel this demeans President Obama, but it shows the lack of respect for our democracy, the position, the Country and therefore is both disrespectful and anti-patriotic. The irony is, so many of these persons consider themselves to be 'Super Patriots'.

I'm cool if you oppose his policies (based on the actual merits of them and not just parroted misconceptions). Go ahead and dislike them. The reason I have contempt for Fox "news" is because they don't attack Obama on the reality of the issues. They attack him with lies and they misinform their audience. If you are cool with being lied to, go ahead and watch Fox "news". I will think you pathetic, but enjoy your freedom to do so. I, however, am going to keep exposing the lies because there might still be a few people who care that they are being misinformed by a HIGHLY biased news organization that has no respect for journalistic integrity. You seem to have a false equivalency... that somehow Fox's behavior is justified or equal to MSNBC because they have some biased hosts too. Bias is one thing, but bias that employs misinformation is something altogether different.

I see that you singled out Olbermann and Schultz. Can you expose any lies? Any deliberate misinformation? and also, if you find an example, can you prove that their lie spread through the network (MSNBC) to other programs beyond their own? And then, can you prove that this is habitual day-in-and-day-out behavior by the network? If so, then you will have proven that MSNBC is a misinforming propaganda machine just like Fox. That would make them equivalent because I could find thousands of examples of that behavior within the Fox "news" network.

I can even provide you with emails of directives by the executives of Fox in which they specifically tell the employees to cast doubt on certain issues, use catch phrases, and completely ignore other issues. That should be proof enough that your news source is twisted.

#1 They're not news. Only fools, rednecks, imbred retards, and the uneducated think they are news. They themselves admit to being News Commentary. Which means they don't report the news, the comment about the news. They don't deliver information, just opinions about the information.

#2 Fox News is not "fair and balanced", they are hyper-partisan right-winged campaign fund generators. Their purpose is to generate ratings by creating controversy, and help the GOP.
They create controversy by appealing to bigots, racists, fear mongers, and closed-minded individuals. Fox News: Not racists, but #1 with racists.

#3 If Fox News didn't exist, there wouldn't be so much hate between the Left and the Right.
Sure, there's always been rivalry, but they use language that implies "taking action" against their enemies, calling US citizens "enemies of America", telling people to "reload", "empty the clip", and "set their targets" on someone. They compare people with Nazi's, when they themselves use tactics which were used by nazi propagandists.

#4 The have been caught many times in lying to the public. THEY'VE BEEN CAUGHT/PROVEN to be LYING. THEY LIE to the PUBLIC. They LIE to their VIEWS. They LIE to YOU. You believe it to be news when it's been proven to be LIES. PROVEN. LIES.
Legally, if they were a News organization, the FDA could take them off the air.
However, since they are News Commentary, they get away with it.
They distort truths, they falsify information, the leave out facts; they lie.

Our political discourse in this country has been thoroughly debased by turning away from substantive debate on real issues to a freak show on Fox where myths matter more than truth and the everyone of FAUX aids and abets the process.

The practitioners of these myths are the Republicans, which has cloaked itself in an facade of manliness, patriotism, and moral rectitude even as the facts show they are anything but!
We already know that Fox News contributes money to Republican candidates only, that Fox News has hired most of the Republican 2012 presidential contenders to offer them in kind contribution of free air time as advertisements, we’ve already seen the leaked emails proving that they deliberately altered information regarding climate change, we already know that they repeatedly, deliberately present doctored video even after its been proven a hoax.

We already know how they use their lower third to tell the audience what to think while carefully crafting their libelous falsehoods as questions, and we already know that Fox News used to read the Bush White House press releases right off the fax machine, typos and all, without even fact-checking them or offering any commentary. We already know that Fox News is dangerous, having witnessed the disastrous results of their calling the Florida election for Bush prematurely as well as the violence against innocent Americans ensuing directly from Glenn Beck’s show.

i mean i struggled with it and had to go to summer school, but damn i figured it out and im only 33 compared to billo being what 60 some odd years old.

Ya know I got along pretty well with earth science it was in physics and biology and chemistry when they started involving nasty things like math i didn't do so well. I don't think this guy did so well in anything. he seems to lack a grasp on most things. Although he probably did great at school in the 50's, the sky is blue because god made it that way. Evolution is a lie, radiation isn't bad for, ya know all those good old fashion lies.
