Links to a Few Posts Relating to Overstatement of Saudi Reserves and Production Capability

The Oil Drum has published many posts over the years relating to Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Middle East's likely inability to produce as much oil as they claim they can. These are excerpts from (or comments about) a few of them. Click on the titles to access the posts. You can access other posts by the same author by clicking on the person's name.

I've personally been studying this for almost a year now since the BP spill occurred in the Gulf - the information has been out there a long time in the Peak Oil movement. Though, Business Insider is correct with their statement that we don't need Wikileaks to know this information - it was important to see it released and brought to the attention of more people in order to prepare for a non-carbon future. It won't be avoided and I hope to make info available here and on my blog in order to help in that transition. It's not the end of the world - just the end of the old one - let's build a new one.
