It has been with great opposition that the current congress oppose the EPA. They speak of how they met with business owner after business owner and how they are forced to move the jobs over seas. This is not imposed by the EPA but it is a direct indication that they refuse to abandon such archaic practices and move toward technological advances that would free us from NON- renewable energy sources. Meanwhile, the impacts on our health and environment is compromised. If adhering to the rules means that the industries that support the old methods will crumble then so be it. The EPA protects us from the pollutants they create and also protects the environments we aim to protect.
The latest technologies would allow them to drill under such monumental protective lands such as Yellow Stone and Yosemite. The raping of our planet for the sake of PROFIT does not meet in the public interest of co-existence. Our technological advances are packed away for there is little to profit from something that is in abundance. I haven't heard any of those in favor of the bill step up and say "I just got done talking to the American people and they say..." Big business is not in the business to keep a clean environment(look at the cancer growth in the countries they now occupy), They are in the business for exploitation of the environment and the people. Oil-Obsolete / Coal-Obsolete usher in the new technologies such as Solar, Wind,Tidal and Geothermal...and what exactly was Wardencliff? Did Tesla have a plan?
