U.S. House Slashes Funding for Public Health, Clean Air, Clean Water

Oh, Waaaa Waaaaa. A bunch family members and friends of current gov't empl. getting 80,000 a year to sit in an office marked "US Enviromental Protection Agency" doing nothing NOTHING all day but writing pamphlets and having meetings on how to "reduce pollutants" is a waste of money. The people of this country like to be environmentally friendly and will buy, Hybrid cars and other earth friendly consumer goods as they become more affordable. We don't need the Gov't to tell us it's smart to protect the planet. Clean drinking water is for local gov't to handle, not Feds.

Shame on them! Their actions will put our children and us in danger. We need the protection they are trying to eliminate! Shame, shame, shame!

Why can't we just get the Republican Party declared a terrorist organization?

Their obvious intent is to kill and maim US citizens for political reasons.

Isn't that terrorism?

Of course this is the better option, lets not ask more of our corporations and wealthy but rather let us trash the nations health, air and water. Yes that's it, destroy what we have.

Republican scare tactics obviously work. People aren't bright enough to go and find the truth themselves. it's so much easier to believe what you are being told, without checking up on the facts. it's very sad, almost pathetic really. If Obama had not given in so much to republican blackmailing, and called out the liars, he may have Dem's running the house right now. Unfortunatley, didn't turn out that way, so now Repub's have to prove-it(to America) in the next year. Which, if you've been paying attention, they're doing everything in their power to not help the country, but help their lobbyist's and their own $$$ pockets. If people would just educate and read, things could be so much better; they would see through all the bullshit that Republicans feed out to the masses. I could go on....

If the Dem led Senate kills it, it does not become law.

Why, oh why didn't the people who voted for Obama get out and vote to prevent the Congressional Republicans from being able to do this shit?? Because the idea of a black president is reason enough to vote, but our health and our food supply isn't? Humans are a stupid greedy race for the most part and we will get what is coming to us in the end.

What the hell? The question is, what companies will actually take advantage of this legislation and actually pollute?
