It's worth noting that the original site which listed all of the brands was a Koch brothers website. What does it say about the Koch brothers' "values" (with regard to the "free market") when they discover a boycott is underway so they make efforts to hide what brands they own?

The Koch brothes should be as fully exposed as possible so that they can be the subjects of ridicule and derision that they so deserve. Their creation of the Tea Baggers and bribing Repunk Wis. Gov. into office to destroy the unions, and ultimately the Democratic Party and our two party system of democracy, is a crime against our nation. They are doing more damage to more lives than any kid robbing a liquor store with a gun. These are not role models and bastions of society, these are rotten, lying, duplicitous, deceitful, destrucive villains who want more than the billions they already have, at the expense of the lives of the middle class workers who our country needs -- way more than we need these two disreputable street thugs wearing Armani.

While I disagree with you in regard to the middle class being "needed", I would agree with you in saying that individuals need to have the opportunity to prosper. Arguably, the Koch brothers are responsible for a portion of the crime committed by common criminals in America as it has been shown in multiple studies that crime increases as the opportunity to prosper (legitimately) decreases.

Between these two sites you will learn what Koch Industries makes and what products to avoid for a boycott of their products.
www.gp.com
www.worldofkoch.comAlso Google the Koch family and learn about how corrupt they are, remember they are the company behind the Massey Upper Big Branch, mining accident in April 2010, that killed 25 miners.

Set of bastards tearing this country apart yet saying they love it. Like a parent or spouse abusing a child or wife/ husband then saying I love you when they are finished.

If it were only the Koch brothers we had to be concerned with, then maybe a boycott would work. How do we get the American people to realize that they have been co-opted by not only the Koch brothers but a lot of other corporations as well. What about the Supreme Court’s decision to allow corporations to contribute all they want to political campaigns?

One day at a time. One effective boycott would send the ripple effect to many other corporations. We should focus on getting one boycott, for example if the country would totally stop purchasing two of their products for a week or two, that would be a big dent and a good message.

Look, I hate to pop everyone's bubble, but a boycott will only hurt the employees of those companies, not the Koch brothers. Many of these employees are likely very sympathetic to liberal causes. The Koch brothers won't lose a nickel to a boycott. I agree the Koch brothers should be "slapped upside the head", but we don't want to shoot ourselves in the foot either. Sorry folks, but I that needs to be mentioned.

I believe in the power of the people, and boycotts can work. I invite you to google up "Brent Spar" and Shell. The oil giant experienced the first boycott that was conducted via the internet, and it was very very effective. Corporate America has learned and is of course always trying to spin the right message, but let me tell you a boycott is very very effective. The only way to hit them where it hurts.

No matter, just to stay away from a particular brand, and if many of us are doing it, will send a message. I will give you another example. Walmart moved into Germany and thought it could deal with the unionized work force the way they did elsewhere on the globe. No, the boycott took two years, but the German people sent the Wallies packing, and it was the consumer that did the voting with his feet away from Walmart regardless of the "low prices". The citizens were smart enough to know that low prices will cost someone, they do not come free. I wish the citizenry of America will finally wake up and smell the roses. We need to spread the word. Like I have been boycotting Amazon every since they pulled the plug on Wikileaks. I just did not agree that a corporation should be getting away with that. Is it inconvenient, yes very much. In the meantime though I found an Indiebook store on line and am still getting what I need. Anyway, if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for everything. Think about it.

Did a little research and this is just the tip of the iceberg...their big bucks come from many many niche areas in the oil, gas, pipline and other related energy related areas......they also own georgia pacific so boycott their products also. I would go so far as telling store managers that you will consider not using their store if Koch related products are still on the shelves. There ya go Wal.mart

Guess it is good they had a Union otherwise they would have gotten the boot in their ass.
And as your figures show they got a increase in their pension whole $1.50 Let see, say you worked starting 1987 four years at $21.25 equals to $85 then you work another 30 yrs if your lucky that would be $682.50 make a total of $767.50 after taxes $537.50 to $614.00 per month.
depending on your states tax rate.
Since working in a mill is hard labor, hard on your feet, legs, back, ears, noise which has a stress factor you might get 5 more years.
What a good life.

* 3 of Camas mill's 5 paper machines shut down
* Millworkers get 'morale booster'
* Restructuring will shut down three of five paper machines, companyOther than the morale booster thing (have no idea what that is), how is this any different than when corporations merge or cut workers to "streamline" their operations?? Also, they are talking about shutting down paper machines, not entire companies. But my question still stands.
