"CIA Spy" Providing al Qaeda with "Nuclear Fissile Material" & "Biological Agents" Report Says: Raymond Davis - Accused of Double Murder

Double murder-accused US official Raymond Davis has been found in possession of top-secret CIA documents, which point to him or the feared American Task Force 373 (TF373) operating in the region, providing Al-Qaeda terrorists with "nuclear fissile material" and "biological agents," according to a report.
Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is warning that the situation on the sub-continent has turned "grave" as it appears that open warfare is about to break out between Pakistan and the United States, The European Union Times reports.
The SVR warned in its report that the apprehension of 36-year-old Davis, who shot dead two Pakistani men in Lahore last month, had fuelled this crisis.
According to the report, the combat skills exhibited by Davis, along with documentation taken from him after his arrest, prove that he is a member of US' TF373 black operations unit currently operating in the Afghan War Theatre and Pakistan's tribal areas, the paper said.
While the US insists that Davis is one of their diplomats, and the two men he killed were robbers, Pakistan says that the duo were ISI agents sent to follow him after it was discovered that he had been making contact with al Qaeda, after his cell phone was tracked to the Waziristan tribal area bordering Afghanistan, the paper said.
The US has not commented on the latest claims, but US sources closely following the case said Davis, who is being held in a Lahore jail amid a tense diplomatic dispute, was working as a "protective officer".
Davis's duties as a protective officer - essentially a bodyguard - were to provide physical security to US embassy and consular officers, as well as visiting American dignitaries, US officials who declined to be identified told Reuters.
The officials strongly denied news reports alleging Davis was part of a covert CIA-led team of operatives conducting surveillance on militant groups in Pakistan.
The officials insisted Davis was not part of any undercover operations team.
Two US sources familiar with the matter confirmed Davis, a former member of the US Special Forces, had previously worked on contract as a security officer for Xe Services, a controversial private contractor formerly known as Blackwater.
The most ominous point in this SVR report is "Pakistan's ISI stating that top-secret CIA documents found in Davis's possession point to his, and/or TF373, providing to al Qaeda terrorists "nuclear fissile material" and "biological agents", which they claim are to be used against the United States itself in order to ignite an all-out war in order to re-establish the West's hegemony over a Global economy that is warned is just months away from collapse," the paper added. RAYMOND DAVIS HAD TALIBAN LINKS
PAK MEDIA / February 22, 2011 16:59 IST
Islamabad: American official Raymond Davis, arrested for double murder, had "close links" with Taliban and was "instrumental" in recruiting youths for it, the Pakistani media claimed today, close on the heels of reports in the US that he was a CIA agent tracking movements of terror groups like the LeT.
The "close ties" of 37-year-old Davis, arrested in Lahore on January 27 for killing two men he claimed were trying to rob him, with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan came out during investigations, 'The Express Tribune' reported quoting an unnamed senior official of Punjab Police."Davis was instrumental in recruiting young people from Punjab for the Taliban to fuel the bloody insurgency (in Pakistan)," the official said.
The report came a day after The New York Times, citing US government officials, said that Davis "was part of a covert, CIA-led team of operatives conducting surveillance on militant groups deep inside the country."
Among the groups that Davis was keeping an eye on was the banned Lashker-e-Taiba, which carried out the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, the New York Times said.
The Express Tribune quoting unnamed sources said that call records retrieved from mobile phones found on Davis had allegedly established his links with 33 Pakistanis, including 27 militants from the banned Taliban and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
The report claimed Davis was "said to be working on a plan to give credence to the American notion that Pakistan's nuclear weapons are not safe."
"For this purpose, he was setting up a group of the Taliban which would do his bidding," it said.Davis' job was to trace the links of the Taliban and al-Qaeda in different parts of Pakistan but instead investigators found that he had developed "close links" with the Taliban, the report said quoting a source.
Investigators had reportedly recovered 158 items from Davis, including a 9mm Glock pistol, 75 bullets, a GPS device, an infrared torch, a wireless set, two mobile phones, a digital camera, a survival kit, five ATM cards and Pakistani and US currency. The camera allegedly had photographs of Pakistani defence installations.
Intelligence officials claimed these items proved that Davis was involved in "activities detrimental to Pakistan's national interests."Read more at:

Raymond Davis case: US Senator John Kerry had wanted to visit the family of the Victims’ offering visa's But they refused to see him.
LAHORE: The families of the two people allegedly murdered by Raymond Davis are coming under pressure from politicians and religious groups not to strike any deals that would allow for Davis’ release.
Waseem Shamshad, elder brother of Fahim, one of the young men killed, told The Express Tribune that the families are coming under conflicting pressures. He claimed that on one hand the government is pressuring the victims’ families to withdraw the case against Davis, while several religious and political groups were pressuring them not to accept any deal that would allow Davis to walk free.
When he was alone, Shamshad freely named the parties that were urging him to keep pursuing the murder charge against Davis.
“Jamaat-e-Islami, Islami Jamiat-e-Tulaba, Tehrik-e-Insaf, Insaf Students Federation and Jamaatud Dawa,” he said, listing off the parties which had called him.
When he was joined by his lawyer, however, Shamshad retracted his earlier statement about the Jamaatud Dawa, saying that they were not pressuring the family at all. He also seemed to change his tone about his feelings towards the affair, making it sound like he wanted revenge for his brother’s death.
“We only want hanging of Davis at that very place where he killed our brothers,” he said.
Nevertheless, he also made it evident that the public anger against Davis’ alleged crimes would make it very difficult for the family to accept any compromise or deal, even if they wanted to.
Since his brother’s death, Shamshad’s house has been visited by many political leaders, including Imran Khan, head of the Tehrik-e-Insaaf, and Munawwar Hasan, leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami. The Jamaatud Dawa held a rally that began at the family’s house and ended at Qurtaba Chowk, the place where Fahim was killed.
He said his mother, Haleema Bibi (55), was unable to believe that her son and daughter-in-law were dead.
“She often calls Fahim and Shumaila as if she sees them in front of her but finding them nowhere she starts weeping,” said Shamshad. “Being the youngest brother, Faizan was dearest to all of us – four brothers and two sisters.”
Shamshad claimed that US Senator John Kerry had wanted to visit the family, but that he had refused to meet the American legislator. He also denied allegations that the US government had attempted to bribe the family with money or the promise of visas to the United States.GO TO STORY:

U.S. Shooter Starts Hunger Strike in Pakistani Prison ~
English.news.cn 2011-02-22 23:01:52ISLAMABAD, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- An American undercover CIA agent, who is facing double murder charges in Pakistan, went on hunger strike in a prison as a protest of "substandard food" and to press for removing of security cameras, officials said.
Raymond Davis, who the Americans claim works for the U.S. consulate in the eastern city of Lahore, had shot dead two Pakistanis on Jan. 27, triggering a serious diplomatic row between the two allies.
U.S. President Barack Obama himself asked for the release of Davis, saying he enjoys diplomatic immunity under the Vienna Convention. The U.S. officials oppose the case to be referred to the court.
But Pakistanis say that Davis is not entitled to diplomatic immunity and the court will decide the issue.
Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani told the parliament on Monday there are differences with U.S. over the issue of Davis and that Pakistan will not accept any pressure.
Officials said that Davis refused to eat in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat jail when food was given to him at lunch time.
The prison officials told the accused that the food is being supplied by the U.S. consulate and Pakistanis have nothing to do with it.
Officials said that the shooter also demanded removal of the security cameras around his barrack, a demand rejected by the jail authorities.
The jail authorities insisted that the cameras have been installed for Davis security and will not be removed.
An emergency meeting of the police and senior officials were summoned Tuesday evening to discuss the situation arising out of Davis strike.
Pakistani intelligence officials confirmed that Davis was on a special secret mission from the CIA.
The Lahore High Court, which is hearing the case of Davis, has given three-week time to the Foreign Ministry to submit a reply about the diplomatic status of Davis.
The court has already stopped the government from the release of the American employee and also ordered ban on his leaving Pakistan.
A petition, seeking ban on Davis leaving Pakistan, was moved in the court. The petition said that the accused is using "undercover " name and his real name is different. The petition said that the court must ensure that Davis does not flee Pakistan on other name.
Gilani said that Pakistan and the U.S. are strategic partners, adding that the Davis case is in the court and court will decide it.
The Pakistani government is also under tremendous internal pressure not to compromise on the issue.
