    • Replace your lawn with food. I am expanding my strawberry patch every year. They are easy and yummy and come in many different varieties. The Oregon strawberry is very sweet and hardy and under appreciated. They freeze well and double every season so that you can pass starts on to your friends.

    • NICEN your statement about riots is unacceptable ...that is the behavior of an UN-civilized nation...we dont need riots we need to get organized for community based groups the will help mold the future of our politics and the social environment. I may not see this come to pass in my life but I will hope that the young people are not too weak in spirit and hope that there is a better future for the planet and all of its inhabitants.

    • Action, and a new Constitutional Convention is long overdue.
      Perhaps this one, and the system of law it creates, could be really be directed this time by one man, one vote.
      If some members of the Supreme Court feel that their corporate political/corporate sponsors deserve more than that it would be time for a fundamental education about where political power comes from---the people.
      Is it a fantasy to imagine enacting real and immediate remedies for the most heinous crimes committed against the earth and humanity itself?
      Polluting the earth and destroying thousands of human lives, and complicity in that unending crime is a far more serious offense than the murder of one person.
      It's not much of secret who has managed and profited from this toxic system.
      It is certainly time for an accounting.

    • I cannot wait for the American riots to call an end to Monsanto and the massive failure that is the US war machine. I also want big oil heads to roll - not with violence, but with sustainable energy.

    • a new corporate welfarism masquerading behind free-market ideology; another version of trickle-down economics, where the hundreds of billions to Wall Street that caused the problem were supposed to somehow trickle down to help ordinary Americans. Trickle-down hasn’t been working well in America over the past years. WE NEED CHANGE !

      Supply-side economics, aka "trickle down", was never designed to help ordinary Americans, it was uniquely designed to profit the 5% or so richest Americans. What is needed is "flow down economics".
