    • "If Republicans cut the top program in that list then everyone will lose their unemployment benefits, not just the people who have received continued benefits as part of the extension. People who have worked for ten years and paid into the unemployment insurance program would not receive benefits if they lost their job for any reason. If the Department of Veteran Affairs is cut then soldiers returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan, and those who served in Vietnam would be on their own when it comes to paying for their health care."

      But, for the love of Gaia, that's exactly what the Republic Syndicate has always been trying to do.

      Social/Political Darwinism at it's finest.

      Republic Syndicate has "No Use Whatsoever for Anybody But the Oligarchs."

    • What would really be a shame is if this newest reality smack upside the head devolves into a cut spending vs. raise taxes debate. We need a game change.....not just reform. It is time to end the practice of issuance of the entire nations' money supply by private banks.
